Ego vs. Intuition
It can be tricky sometimes knowing the difference between what your intuition is telling you and what your ego says. The ego will trick you into staying within your comfort zone, propelling you with fears, and other times it will want you to run away and escape. Sometimes holding on can be as dangerous to being authentic as letting go. Wisdom lies in knowing the difference between when you need to hold on and when you need to let go. Go in the direction of fear, and there you'll find freedom.

Conversations
I have been reflecting on the power of conversations with key people in my life. It fascinates me that some of my greatest insights about myself and the world around me happen during these moments of pure engagement.
They're unplanned, spontaneous, and often marvelous. I find them energizing and captivating. I feel grateful that those close to me help me feel fulfilled, with these conversations.
This takes me back to remember to be in the present moment, because without that I would not experience this.

What if...
Instead of thinking about all the reasons we may fail or be unsuccessful at something, what if you thrive?
In the last couple of days this thought has been reoccurring in my mind, "what if you actually do it", "what if you succeed", "what if nothing is holding you back" "what if you let nothing hold you back". I'm finding this experience very profound and powerful, to realize that some of the things that I thought were holding me back are my own thoughts. This shift in thinking is very difficult but with practice I believe it will have extraordinary consequences.
I'm realizing the power of intention and focus. Hoping to work towards goals I've put off for a long time.
What are you what ifs? What if you transform them all into "what if I succeed" ?
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." - Marianne Williamson

Vulnerability
In order for someone to become vulnerable or show their vulnerability, they must feel contained. They must feel safe and contained by the other. It cannot be forced or demanded. Only when the right conditions are present, will one allow themselves to open to a different depth. This cannot happen without genuine engagement.

You are more than your pain, whether it is physical emotional psychological or spiritual. Do not let it define who you are, acknowledge it and listen to what's behind it. #healing #pain #thehealingproject #healingisyours

Today I experienced such an honor in having a client share their experience with me. To be exposed, vulnerable, and willing to be present in moments of pain and triumph requires great strength. #gratitude #grateful #therapy #mindfulness #thehealingproject #healingisyours
