an: I don’t really know what this is, but the Chat Blanc episode killed me and god, this is what I managed to get out.

He keeps her secret inside and it’s oh so wonderfully tortuous. It burns him all lovingly and adoringly, sears his nerve endings until his muscles move with barely a thought to hold Marinette over and over again.

He knows. She doesn’t. It’s a bit uneven, but he likes to think he’s respecting her wishes by not finishing these revelations.

They are happy. 

“Je t’aime, Marinette.” He says again, delighting in the smile that curls across her face every time. Marinette gives him that same smile. The one that makes it look adorably as if she’s been cold-cocked over the head with a frying pan. As if she can’t quite believe this is still real.

To love and be loved. That’s why people live, isn’t it? Adrien thinks it’s a wonderful thing, and doesn’t mind that his smile looks equally as stupefied when she laces her fingers with his.
