Harrisburg City box 1-3 was dropped at the intersection of Seneca and Reel for a well off house fire. Communications advised the city units they had received “rapid and multiple calls and the police department was advising full involved”. Tower 1 while enroute requested the first alarm, and minutes later dropped the second upon arrival, realizing it was auto extended into two additional homes, one being a duplex. County units including Engines 30, 37, and Cumberland county engine 13, truck 32, truck 50, and rescues 44 and 69. Shortly after the arrival of chief 1, the third alarm was struck. Bringing Engines 32, 91, and trucks 88 and 456. The third alarm companies stood by at the city stations ready to respond to any call in the capital. The fire took several hours to control, and the city units remained on the scene extinguishing hotspots.
