Who’s the most important person in your life?

"My father, most definitely. He's my best friend, and I worry about him constantly. He's always supported me and put me first. I just wish he would put himself first now."

"Well, in that case, if our skill level is about the same, I'm willing to try whatever niche craft you pick," she tells her with a chuckle. "Basket weaving? "You have a date, it's just not a romantic date. At least you're not sitting at the singles table next to me," she points out with another sigh. "I've been dipping. A bit. It's bleak out there, Cherry, I'm being cautious. I don't want to end up with a stalker or dead in a ditch somewhere." Her friend was right, though, Cora realized that. There was no chance of her meeting someone and falling hopelessly in love when she wasn't even attempting to put herself out there. @cherryxkoch

While Cherry also considered herself a romantic, but what had gone down between herself and Bo was a much different genre. Borderline psychological thriller. Cora didn't understand the full breadth of the situation, she just saw two people who were obviously still attracted to each other. While she'd made a point to not gaze in Bo's direction all day, she could feel his eyes on her. Instead of speaking on it further, Cherry purses her lips together.

"I don't know," she shrugs. "If I was some kind of relationship wizard, I'd have an actual date to my best friend's wedding." Not that coming here with Ziggy was a bad thing, he made every event memorable. "But not even dipping your toes into the dating pool isn't going to help you. Like your perfect person isn't just going to drop by yourself and profess their love. You have to put that energy out to get it in return."

Cora hopes to grab her drink and sneak away quietly, but no such luck. The man who had taken her seat caught on to what had happened and turned to her, looking mildly amused. "Hm, yeah, kind of," Cora says apologetically, even though she hasn't done anything wrong. She's never been great at standing up for herself. "It's okay, though, I can probably find another free seat somewhere in the place. You look like you're having a nice conversation." @pcrdita

Jude was at his usual haunt for a Friday evening, throwing back a scotch and enjoying the obvious he had on the bartender whilst preparing to slip outside to have a smoke. The unfamiliar voice, tintively over his shoulder, only catches Jude's attention when the strangers hand reaches for the half empty glass that had been there since he sat down. The bartender hadn't moved it, nor informed him the spot was taken, so he didn't pay too much mind to it. But his gaze does follow to investigate its owner, "I was wondering who that belonged to." A lazy smile hangs from his lips, attention pulling from the bartender to the stranger, "Did I take y'seat?"

Wine - Do you drink?

"Socially, for the most part, but I do enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. You won't see me blacked out on someone's couch, though. I know my limit."

Tinderbox - What do you cherish most?

"My father is my favourite person on earth. He's the best dad in the world, which I realize is something every person with a good father might say. He's stood behind me every step of the way and never stopped believing I could achieve whatever I set my mind to, even when no publisher wanted my books. I would drop everything for him."

Cora walks out of the bathroom, rummaging through her purse for her phone as she heads back to her seat at the bar. She left her drink there and had a promise from the bartender that she would watch her spot, but came back to find a man sitting in her seat. She can't blame the bartender for not saying anything; the man is handsome, and she seems to be aware of that, judging by how heavily she's flirting with him. "Excuse me," she says, a little embarrassed. "You're in my—You know what? It's fine, but I'd just like to grab my drink. It's the one right in front of you."

"Oh, I hadn't even thought of that. You're right, it's the perfect backdrop for a good selfie," Cora agrees with a smile. She wasn't huge on social media, but she could definitely see the tweens of Aurora stopping in front of the shop and snapping away. "This is actually completely brilliant of you, and I'm willing to bet your plan will work. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a bouquet for my work desk. Want to help me out?" @theirisxalderidge

Iris couldn't stop the little breath of relief that she let out as she heard the opinion and she nodded, reaching out to adjust some flowers and fillers on one side, "Thank you." She replied as she finished and took a step back again, looking it over. "It's not something I'll always be able to handle maintaining, but...for now? It was fun. And yeah! I'm already formulating ideas for autumnal vibes. And then the spooky vibes for October...I'm excited. Plus, it gives people a photo op spot? Which could mean more foot traffic and potentially more customers."

Cora watches X with a hint of a smile as she takes in the sight of what appears to be an exhausted and overwhelmed new father. She can't see his eyes, but she assumes the sunglasses are hiding very dark undereye bags.

"I'm working on too many things. Just trying to figure out that writer's block of mine. I thought for a second I might just be over romance, but it's looking like I can't do thrillers or horror or contemporary either," she says with a chuckle. "I've been toying with the idea of non-fiction, but I don't know if I'm ready for my personal shit to be out there for everyone to read."

An extended moment of silence passes before X realises he had completely zoned out, the fatigue he felt from sleepless nights caused by a newborn felt like it existed on a different level to the more self-inflicted kind he was used to.

He blinks behind the sunglasses he forgot he was wearing in doors like he was trying to reboot his brain, speaking the first coherent thought he could think before it drifted away from him.

"Are you working on anything right now? What's the inside scoop?"

"I'm sure it is. The only art this girl is good at is the art of writing," Cora insists. She's not above trying new things, though, which is the only reason she even considers Ruby's offer. "Is there such a thing as a niche craft? I feel like that wouldn't sell very well." @xrubyredx

Ruby was unsure what had possessed her to show up in front of the store but she had that impulsive streak that made her want to try new things. Never really anything too dangerous but just to move her out of her comfort zone. “ you think what you make is going to be worse than what I do? “ Ruby smiled. “ I genuinely don’t know what craft I’m gonna try. 🎎 What was their favorite childhood toy?

"My Barbies, definitely. The stories I made up with those poor things. I had an entire Barbie world in my bedroom."

Unreal: what’s something you’d never thought you would accomplish but you did?

"Definitely getting published. I've always wanted to be a writer, but the way it's happened has been... better than anything I could ever imagine. I never thought I would accomplish so much, that I would right away find the people who resonated with my writing and that they would be so loyal to me. I've gotten incredibly lucky."

Menu: what’s one summer type dish you like?

"Any salad. I rarely feel like eating hot meals when it's scorching outside. Salads are fresh. Bonus point if you make strawberry shortcake for dessert."

Cora looks up at the store's name, wondering the very same thing Ruby was. How on earth had she ended up there? She was good at writing, but that was just about the only form of art she was decent at. Not that she did much of that these days either. "You know what? Sure. Why not? You're not allowed to make fun of whatever atrocity I create, though." @xrubyredx

Sometimes when Ruby had a lot of free time she would walk around town and see if there was anything that inspired her for her accounts. A chance to take some cute aesthetic photos or a place to do some posts about. However there were some blind spots that she had in her life and as soon as she saw the front of the craft store she looked around like it just appeared when she knew for a fact it hadn’t. “ when did we get a craft store” She asked as she walked with it. “ Do you wanna go in with me and find the ‘most likely to go extinct’ art form they sell and try to do it? Like can you imagine me making baskets? “ she asked. This wasn't her suddenly deciding to give up fashion influencing for crafting but she had to admit she was curious“ it could be fun”

"It's definitely not not enough," Cora replies, looking at the entrance to the shop. "But I wouldn't say it's too much either. I think you definitely found the perfect in-between. Changing it seasonally is a great idea, too. You're good at this." @theirisxalderidge
