MAG 81 A Guest for Mr. Spider

hello (: ignore the fact i dissapeared for so long life got busy TT starting off strong in season three with a Jon Sims statement!

Statement of Jonathan Sims, regarding a childhood encounter with a book formerly possessed by Jurgen Leitner. Statement recorded by subject February 18th, 2017.

poor *previous* head archivist. he seems so tired, getting that emotion out with anger. i feel bad. he's putting the pieces together. he belongs to the Eye, Beholding. but he was first touched by the Web

my guy was just autistic TT he was bored and curious and would just. leave. he would read a lot but was a particularly picky reader.

he would get insulted when his grandmother would get him those colorful cardboard books. A Guest for Mr Spider was like that. but different. he noticed it. he opened it.

Jurgen Leitner name is there. he looks at the images. no color, its strange, no changes. no text until later. knock knock. a fly shows up and offers cake. he doesnt like it. an ink spill is seen on the door. the cycle repeats.

a horse fly offers his son. mr spider wants more. blood is everywhere. theres a door on the second to last page. he goes to knock it. a teen hits the book out of his hand. his bully. he picks it up and starts reading it, walking seemingly without control.

he put the panel with the door against a door on a house. knock knock. the door opens. the bully gets pulled away before he can scream.

not him admitting that he wouldnt believe it as a statement TT

awe he doesnt accept help anymore bc of that. at least he admits it now.

Statement of Jurgen Leitner regarding his life and works. Recorded direct from subject 16th February 2017.

So theyre out of the tunnels. jon still has his pipe and jurgen is, well, here. alive. trapped the not!them. and he wants help.

youre quite like her, you know?

so jurgen was familiar with gertrude, it seems. and contrary to what the not!them said, he thinks that theyre similar.

so jurgen can control the tunnels to a certain extent by reading the artefacts/books. thats pretty neat (: he changed the tunnels for jon, but he's not the one who put the arrow pointing down. that was not!sasha.

LMAO I LOVE HOW PISSED JURGEN SOUNDS ABOUT CALLING "the dissapearance" A BOOK "hardly 12 pages..."

jurgen has always been hunted huh? by creatures and by vengeful people. such as gerry (': hes not the one who writes the books though. his library was just because he was foolish enough to think he could contain them.

so jon asks him to start from the beginning. and so he does. hes good at buying things, apparently. finding interesting objects and such. eventually someone tells him about a rumor of some books. and well there we go.

smirke seems deeply linked to all this, huh.

a few years later, he learns of people and creatures serving the fears. the hard way. people like michael seem to have attacked.

he fled with no books. and hes been hiding since.

luring him out didnt work, but you know what does? telling him he will be forgotten, erased. it will hurt like it hurt her. and thats enough.

he cries out and it finds him. he starts running.

and tim and martin again! its very distorted and theyre lost in michaels halls (:

then jon again. or well, not!sasha. it decides to give jon a statement. talks about being free, getting trapped by decker, and how jon oh so stupidly let it go once again. jon just says how sorry he is to his staff. it talks about the "Unknowing", and if it took jons place, how it would be robbing the eye of its pupil, wondering if it could take the archivists place.

it decides to kill him.

it closes in for the kill when suddenly it. dies? evaporates? dissapears? a man appears, recognizes mr sims and says they need to talk. they seem to have saved him.

MAG 78 Distant Cousin

Statement of Lawrence Moore, regarding something that was not his cousin. Original statement given June 12th, 2001.

jon sounds so. tired. oh man. he understands whats happened to Sasha, doesnt he. thats why hes looking into this statement.

he knows that this is a trend, especially with Gertrude's statement, calling them the Not!Them, with melanies outburst, with sasha being weird...

the statement is about this guy whos cousin gets changed. everyone other than the statement giver said that nothing had changed. he goes through pictures and finds only 2 with the original cousin out of thousands. the not!cousin visits the statement giver and doesnt really do anything but scare him haha.

later in the night, a man visits his house. he asks the statement giver if he knew the man that had left his home earlier. the statement giver laughs and insists that he doesnt. the visiter, adelard decker, gets excited and asks for unchanged pictures of the cousin. they leave the house together. they go and grab a box and bring it into the living room. he tells him to go to his room. his cousin was dead, so the man claimed, and he had to "take care of everything."

he stays there until 3 o'clock the next day, when he hears a knock. an hour passes and an unnatural scream emerges from downstairs. he runs down, and sees decker, chanting inaudibly next to a carved table. as well as not!the cousin. he looks much less natural now. too many joints. the statement giver leaves until the next morning. 2 people in a van pick up the table and leave.

and thats it. jon sounds as broken reading the statement as he does when hes done. oof bro. he knows. not!sasha, huh. it hurts to hear her voice now. he realizes that its connected to the table...

Statement of Stephen Walker, regarding his brother's dissapearance from the top of Tour Montparnasse in October 2006. Original statement given November 7th, 2006.

ooh so a fear of heights huh? but more of lack of control and instability right, like ladders. i get that.

its kinda funny that the statement giver spends a good part of the statement complaining about his probably deceased brother.

anyway so flashback: statement giver climbs ladder to get into their flat, falls, brother has to climb. theres a man with a lightning scar watching the brother. mike crew

then time passes and they forget abt it and everythings fine. he goes to paris for a week as a vacation and the brother invites himself.

so as revenge the statement giver brings him to the highest point in paris. its beautiful (: and his brother hates it (:

suddenly he is thrown into the gate, nausea consuming him, vertigo overcoming him. mike crew is back. when he looks back his brothers gone. so is mike.

they search for him for hours. when he checks his phone, he sees hundreds of messages and calls. hes falling from the tour de Montparnasse isnt he. maybe permanently. oop :p

You said it started with a kidnapping case?

ooh basiras here. and, her thing with maxwell rainer didnt go well... so heres the statement (:

so a kid was kidnapped, apparently being held by maxwell, darkness :0

aaa someone all in black and goodman, the person with barisa, shot. and seems to have shot accurately

gunshots everywhere. they make it to other people and see a basement. they go down. darkness "shines" from the bottom of a doorframe. they open the door and darkness consumes everything.

they start moving and theres nothing anywhere and theres a roaring getting louder and louder

goodman finally sees something with his torch. a tall man. in black. white hair, beard, white milky eyes. maxwell. the kid was next to him, silently screaming. he starts getting consumed by darkness :0 goodman shoots.

a woman appears? and stabs someone to death before anyone can do anything. 2 dead kidnappers, 1 cop.

fun fact :0 im currently visiting the uk!! and im on the train where this uh happened? which is :0 i have so much hihi

she seems very calm or okay but shes obviously here for something uh not great TT but yeah super calm and coherent. interesting

she was drinking on a saturday and finds a train to get her home. it seems older and shes alone.

all the ads seemed to be covered in dirt. once she notices it, everything seems to be covered in dirt. she decides to get off at the next station and take the bus bc this is creepyy

but the train didnt stop. and it didnt pass the station either. oh lmao she tries the emergency handle just breaks TT

eventually the train stops but like no where? just the tunnel. she gets off anyway bc ew staying in that ghost train :p however the tunnel isnt right bc its just made of dirt and comes right up to the train so she stays on

id probably do the same. she goes to the front to find the driver and the carriages just get dirtier and dirtier :p

the train is shitty by now- she finds a guy who seems really uncomfortable but alive apparently. OOP AND HE GRABS HER AAA

he decides to ignore it for a bit but he cant really because well thats fucking terrifying. he goes back to his page and its changed. its two years earlier and in london.

i wonder if the curse is about wasting the life you had to this death that you dread :p

so Lightner isnt causing the cursed books, just perhaps collecting them.

ooh someone who appreciates the magnus institute

so its an artist who goes to the dump to find stuff for his art and he finds this old book by Frederick Treeves, a famous author

he figures that its a draft copy of the book, as it seems all of it has different print of paper or was printed at different times

i love how much emotion he loses when he does the archivist note TT lmao

so theres a few different notes that are different than the generally known book, all regarding someone called Amherst.

i love how panicked jon sounds at the beginning of the statement, when Vincent is explaining that he mustve been drugged but that cant be it. its really as though he was the statement giver :p

oki doke he talks to salesa and finds a surprisingly empty box and salesa warns him: "dont go to sleep". he doesnt seem to be threatening him, its more of a warning

he wakes up in the empty box and cant move and everything is too loud and he is stuck and he is angry at salesa

he realizes that he could still breathe after so long and he must not be underground. hes suddenly hopeful and so the box gets smaller. he finds a ray of sunlight and the box closes it. his watches light fades too.

hes there for 4 days. 4 DAYS DUDE THAT WOULD BE SO AWFUL OH MY GOD well all of these are awful but yk
