I think Elsens are a bit strong. Well maybe only Zone 1 Elsens because doing hard labour all day and transporting heavy amounts off metal surely will get them somewhere right?

Just a twist to the og OFF. Where batter can only heal by eating the ghouls he purifies. After doing so, he gets their powers / abilities at the expense of having his own body crudely, painfully altered. The effects of these "power ups" dissapear after using, but if he overdoes it the consequences are fatal. Something like what happened to Tetsuo from Akira.
