At last this beast is done lol I didn't include his big shot era in this because I'm gonna have a separate post for that entirely with different headcanons. And howdy boy do I have some notes on this guy.

Some text notes/headcanons below the cut, for fun and for anyone interested! This one gets a lil lengthy because I'm a madman about this dude.

Body used to be more organic, but has since turned entirely into a doll. He still glitches like he's made of code though. (And yes, he does his own repairs.)

Smokes frequently. His body's long since fucked anyway.

Manipulative (even though it’s so apparently obvious he’s trying to scam you.) Claims he is an honest man while actively pulling you into whatever schemes he has in mind. May not steal your wallet outright but would definitely pressure you into handing it over yourself.

Body is slightly eldritch in nature. Probably due to his run in with [redacted] over the phone.

Vocal tic flares up worse when stressed out, hysterical, or angry. Or when he’s trying to sell someone something. He just can’t help himself. Has occasional moments of full composure where he can speak without the tic. But they aren’t often and he probably has to focus.

Is aware of the prophecy, or enough of it that it messed him up just from knowing it. Don’t mention the lord of screens.

Can NOT show vulnerability around other people. Crying around someone? Absolutely not. That’s between him and [ g o d ].

Touch starved. I don’t even need to explain this it’s probably just canon.

Don’t bring up the other Addisons around him.

Occasionally hears phantom phone ringing. He’s long since chosen to ignore it, knowing it will never be real.

Tenna was one of the only people to have ever shown him a shred of honest kindness in the past. But even that, too, eventually went [south of the border]. …right?

Personal hc that he either had his ties sabotaged with Tenna by whoever was over the phone and was made to believe that Tenna just wanted to use him once the contract had been signed. Or (my personal favorite theory) that he was threatened by whoever was over the phone because he was going to tell Tenna everything, and Spamton was punished for caring about someone enough to share that knowledge. Therefore, he blamed Tenna for his downfall. The alternative was that he’d have to accept that he brought everything on himself, and he cannot let this be true for the sake of his sanity (and ego.)

The casual and constant self depreciation… Somehow he is simultaneously a narcissist and yet he utterly hates himself.

Hc that the garbled voice in big shot was him trying to contact tenna back then but being unable to get in touch with him. This line was likely one of the last sane memories he had before he was corrupted.

I believe that his corruption was sudden and devastating rather than a gradual change. I don’t know if it was from the phone or falling in the acid but his change into a literal puppet and mental break was likely tragically sudden. (One that, dreadfully, he probably saw coming and desperately tried to escape.)

Obsessed with freedom. Mildly claustrophobic. Doesn’t like feeling trapped.

Genuinely surprised when people care about him unconditionally. Needless to say this doesn’t happen often. Especially since he’ll probably have conditions of his own. (Has no idea how to have healthy relationships…)

Has an obsession with money. Almost like a compulsive instinct he cannot deny, if you give him money he’ll never leave you alone. Like feeding a dog tablescraps.

Sticky fingers. What, you think this man hasn’t stolen someone’s car muffler and pawned it for a quick buck?

He’s a salesman primarily but probably knows a thing or two about cars. Secret car nerd. I don’t have extensive car knowledge so I can’t list anything witty.

If he gives you a pipis that means he likes you. Unless he throws it at you. Those will definitely probably explode.

Has no clipped into at least seven dumpsters. He doesn’t like to talk about it.

Has multiple voices but has one in particular that stands out and defaults the most. It’s reminiscent of his old voice before he was corrupted, but something sounds… off.

Thinks kindly of Kris and Noelle the most. Rarely acknowledges ralsei. Thinks susie can and will shred him like a chew toy if he tried anything.

Has a maus that hangs around him sometimes. He named it Click. He gave it cheese one time and it never truly left him alone.

This man is messy as hell and I want him to be happy is that so much to ask TOBY

There’s two voices in “NOWS YOUR CHANCE TO BE A”

A higher pitched voice and a lower pitched voice. The higher pitch voice sounds an awful LOT like Tenna in feature presentation (aka Tenna’s literal introduction scene… which ALSO looks like it could have possibly been Spamton in the blue / smaller position) which could be Toby yes, since he does voice all the chars and there’s bound to be similarities….

But there’s also. One key thing. In the legendary Tenna crash out, WHAT is the song that plays during “oh god. The music is coming. I can’t stop it.”

It’s NOWS YOUR CHANCE TO BE A.

Tenna knows about this song.

This has implications that they made that song together and it OF COURSE would be ingrained into spamtons fight.

Now both voices could definitely STILL BE JUST SPAMTON esp cuz his talking plush uses both versions, and the garbled text is higher pitched (much higher than either voices tho so it def sounds just. Different)

But uh. If that’s in any way possibly supposed to be Tenna and Spamton collabing I’m gonna fucking explode.

Was that weird ramble big shot era spamton talking, or trying to call Tenna?

“Something’s (???) answer the phone. *I can’t explain until you’re all alone.” We know Spamton was trying to call Tenna at one point but couldn’t get his number or was cut off. He couldn’t explain anything to Tenna. The line that plays in big shot could have been one of the last sane memories he had.

Tweaked my Sneo design a bit and I think he’s pretty solid now. I am satisfied at last heehee

I had to fix his eyes cuz I forgot they are reversed in neo form!

Some text notes/headcanons below the cut, for fun and for anyone interested!

- He isn’t used to this new body so he’s very VERY clumsy with it. Stumbles over himself a lot, jittery, overshoots his gestures, kinda goofy cartoon like. A certain crt would be proud (or disturbed…)

- His body is made of metal and faux bristly fur (probably from what would have been mettaton’s hair if he had taken the body.) It is NOT soft, but probably not painful to touch. Very coarse and stiff. Also it can bristle and ruffle like a CREECHUR.

- He can size shift, but prefers to be BIG!!! BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER (I base this off of two things we see in game: the first being that his head still shifts to a bigger size in the intro cutscene. And second being his final attack where he is just big. The secret third reason is because size difference interaction is interesting and fun and I do what I want.)

- Somehow, even more manic than regular spamton. Probably due to his new body and power trip he’s getting from it. His emotions are magnified significantly, no matter what they are. Very unpredictable and can turn on a dime.

- Tends to turn blue when REALLY angry, which usually precedes him charging up to attack. Pupils turn white in this state. He also will start steaming.

- Chest compartment is hollow and glows from within. Who knows how. Robot stuff.

- Pupils don’t show up in eyes as much as they do in his regular form. He tends to display them to exaggerate expression, or unnerve someone.

- His eyes are screens that are able to light up. There is a wire connecting them on the bridge of his nose, much like his old glasses, but they aren’t actually glasses.

- Lacks the puppet jaw of regular spamton, but can disconnect it seamlessly when needed, like when charging up a powerful attack.

- Obviously in canon, the sneo robot is destroyed at the end of the fight but sometimes I like to think about what if he could have kept it and stayed in there, He would probably still have the strings connected to his back, technically freed but they’re always there to remind him…

Im so ill about them I had to use my best skills for them.

AND Im so ill about them that I spend the whole day trying to get photoshop back, just to fail and end up doing the last page on Autodesk Sketchbook on my Ipad (that I didn't use for the last year) because my fudging school Adobe License ended.

Luckily for me, I knew similar brushes on the app and have enough skills to hide it. But damn I wish we could add font on Sketchbook, cleaning up screenshots was not easy :,)
