My activity is spotty at best. Fandoms of interest- SCP, Dan Da Dan, Series of Unfortunate Events (Lemony Snicket in general), Blood+ ---Occasional rps and fanart --- A good handful of OCs. I'm very open to conversations and like to help where I can, ranging from character ideas to recipes to cleaning tips.

honestly one of the worst things about getting isekai'd is the one day adjustment period where you're frantically trying to remember whether the creator of the vaguely european middle ages fantasy setting you're in is familiar with the historical agricultural products of europe so you know if you're about to face the consequences of being reborn in a world where you can't get caffeine or nicotine

really love imagining a bunch a kids and teens on their pokemon journeys staying the night on the couches and floors in the lobbies of pokemon centers, having long talks about their experiences and feelings sharing funny and scary stories and myths about legendaries and trading items and sharing TMs along with sugary snacks and pokedex chargers all while their pokemon are out of their pokeballs and all bundled up in blankets sleeping soundly next to their trainers while they stare up at the stars shining through the glass ceiling over their heads

The thing about doing research before you draw is finding the length to wingspan ratio of a Harris’s Hawk and applying that to a 5’11 human, which results in

20 ft wingspans! How the heck would I get them to FOLD these without them dragging on the ground?????
For starters, find where the bones of the wing roughly are and bend them into shape. Then see where the tip of the longest primary feather would be (from the wrist where it bends) and then adjust how they are folded.
Remember that they're three-dimensional and often have a curve to them so let them curve forwards around the shoulders, be arched up if they have the strength, or have their whole posture adjust to compensate for balance and keeping wingtips off the floor.
Experiment with it and look to gifs of birds folding their wings for reference o:
