i think that hands down the best side effect of cruise doin all those stunts For Reals in the movies is Ethan looking like he Actually went through all that. Other actors in movies where they're not actually doing the stunts will easily shake off the crazy action thing that they just did because they don't know what it's like to actually have done that. Tom DOES, because he DID it. and he can add that to the character and his reaction. So instead of a stoic badass, we get a character who is also a badass but walks away from getting punched or thrown or dropped like "😵💫😵💫😵💫" and I think that's beautiful. I also think it's cute.
