The TWST translations are honestly not that bad. The only thing that really bothers me are the changes they made to some things like “madol” and “unique magic” even though you can literally hear them say the word unique. It’s like an abridged version of the original version, which was already pretty chaotic. Some lines are kinda cringey, but you can’t make literal translations of some of the jokes so I guess it’s okayyy.

I know I’ve been pretty inactive over the past few months, but I decided to come back after the ending of chapter 5 and saw that apparently there is discourse. I’m not saying that it’s made up, I’m just genuinely curious where people or even if people have sent actual death threats. So far I’ve only seen posts telling people to stop and none that were actually harmful. I haven’t seen any- genuinely I want to know.

By producing these ‘warnings’ and asking people to stop doing something they aren’t doing, it just starts discourse for no reason and makes the fandom seem toxic. A lot of people have been pushed away from twst because of the fandom. Twst is so unproblematic, there’s no need for discourse and hate in the fandom.

I absolutely love this track because it really goes to show how great the soundtrack actually is. I feel like the music is an overlooked aspect of the game, but it’s definitely a major reason to love it. Musical motifs are typically short in the game, but you can hear it here. (This one being the Diasomnia theme)
