I think I might just throw in the towel again yall. Art just is upsetting for me. I don’t know why but I’m just frustrated everytime I draw something, the process is boring and uninteresting. Like I have no passion for this at all anymore but it’s the only talent I’ve ever had so I’m scared to let it go. Idk.

Been listening to stone jars on loop, wanted to see how these goobers looked in my art style. I think I may have made Cesare too manic, if that’s even possible… Still love that bro’s design and name is just from the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, awesome reference.

Call me Count, some years ago— never mind how long precisely— having little to no interest in my art, and nothing to keep me going onward, I thought I would quit the concept entirely. However, I know whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off-then, I know art is there to preoccupy my mind. So I am attempting to find that lost passion, and I hope to be successful.

If not painfully obvious by my constant quoting of Herman Melville, I love classic literature. Fun fact, my direct ancestor, one of many “greats” grandfather, was the main inspiration for Captain Ahab as a character!

— My favourite book I’ve read is likely The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.

I also adore video games primarily from the 90s, I have a very large collection of consoles and such.

— Legend of Zelda, Majora’s Mask for the n64 is my favourite game of all time.

I also collect Horror Movies, anime, manga, VHS tapes and other random trinkets.

— I would at some point like to make a separate blog for uploads of VHS rips, to preserve those promo videos at the start of each tape.
