Rogers capacity

It's seems that Rogers 3G towers are starting to reach capacity for data throughput! Recently in the last few months I had been noticing serious drops in my data speeds north of the city, so I decided to call Rogers support. Since my initial phone conversation and several more... I was finally contacted by their second tier and advised that analysis of the towers in my area are OVER 100% capacity and causing slowness in data speeds as well as dropped calls.

Needless to say, reaching this conclusion took a lot of work on my part as many help desk analysts will insist on troubleshooting the phone and many other things... If you suffer from any similar symptoms I highly suggest you open a ticket with rogers and push back on them by advising them it's not the phone. This is important for all of us to do as this is the only way that 3G and future networks will be maintained to our standards.

For those of you curious, the current status of my ticket is: - two new towers going up in the next 6 months - upgrades to the current tower - my data is free until the issue is corrected

Granted they could be blowing smoke up my butt, but keeping a log of my tickets logged, names of people I've spoken with have helped a lot with fighting the issue - and if any of this is not true, then at the very least it's worth going to customer relations and retentions with all these details.
