Also it has occurred to me that I never posted my finished collection of doll sweaters! I’m particularly fond of the brown sweater with the cool clasp haha.

Every knitter has the one project that will never be finished and this is mine… a plain stockinette scarf that has like a foot left at most but would take more will power than knitting an entire cable-knit sweater lol. It’s not even wide I’m just so lazy

I just found out that my neighbor is pregnant! How I’m going to get baby yarn and needles for yarn that small I’m not sure yet, but I can’t wait until I do, I will finally have an excuse to knit baby clothes!

I’ve been knitting little sweaters for my knitting class and I’m really proud of how they fit, especially the cable knit!

I should really update this blog more often. I have fourteen dolls now.

From left to right their names are: Victoria, Alice, Dorothy, Letty, Pearlie, Annie, Matilda, Madeline, Adelaide, Abby, Aggie, Wendy, Eloise, and Gerda.
Three of them aren’t painted yet but 11 of them are and 10 of them have hand made outfits.

One of the newest is a repeat of the rapunzel doll who I have named Gerda and whom I have dyed the hair of using my own hair dye.

I combed through Dorothy’s hair and washed it, and I ended up having to cut a couple inches off. In order to keep her curls, I put in some rollers, very silly looking haha!

And the finished look!!

I tried giving Alice a cool braid pony tail thing! At some point I have to cut her hair a bit, it’s longer than she is tall and when I stand her up she steps on her hair and she ends up falling over. I’ll probably trim an inch or two at some point. Also, I recently got some fabric that’s perfect for making a little couch! As soon as I have a proper wooden frame and enough foam to cushion it, I’m totally going to sew a little couch for the girls!

Alice has a fresh repaint and big green eyes! I also gave her a beauty mark and brown eyebrows!

I received a hairdressing kit for Christmas, so I gave Victoria a fun tomboy cut!

While waiting for Christmas I finally got around to finishing Victoria’s overalls! Now all I need to do is sew her a shirt to go underneath!

And a Christmas dress! Just in time for Victoria’s first Christmas, let’s just hope that she has a sibling doll on the way, I’d love to do another repaint!
