A thing I want to say about Sergey Lazarev
At Eurovision, I usually root against Russia out of principle. And while I wouldn’t go as far as booing artists, I do understand where the people who do that are coming from.
That being said, if there’s one Russian who doesn’t deserve to be booed at Eurovision, and where I wouldn’t mind if they won, it’s Sergey Lazarev. Because unlike many other Russian celebrities (like Dima Bilan or Polina Gagarina), Lazarev refused to publically support Putin, spoke out against Russia’s anti-gay law, spoke out in support of the LGBT-community mulitple times, and also said that he thinks Crimea belongs to Ukraine. All of those are insanely brave things  to do in Russia, and made me respect him immensely.
tl;dr: Sergey’s a good egg. Don’t boo him.

The murder of LGBT+ people in Russia
I’m sorry but it’s not about study or languages. Anyway, I hope you’ll read it. It’s really important.
TW: homophobia, violence, murder
More than 40 LGBT+ people were detained in Chechen Republic (a region of Russia), 2 of them died as a result of torture.
So the Union of homophobes (it includes Russia, CIS countries, Siria and Iran) started pursuing LGBT+ people.
And yeah, there is no news about it on Russian TV because all our government is homophobic.
I have about 700 followers there and I ask you to reblog it. I want more people to know about it. I think people from other countries should know about this shit in Russia.

Thank you so much.
