At the beginning of May I had bought a little pocket sketchbook and instead of letting it sit in a drawer collecting dust I challenged myself. Work has been so incredibly busy and I don’t have the time to sit and draw in my main sketchbook as often as I’d like. So I took this little book and I drew a different fish everyday. I had an absolute blast and I would highly recommend. Anyways here is my very first fish of the month and on the last day I did a redraw!

Everything Eats and is Eaten

A drawing of a leopard seal done in neo color wax pastels took 3 hours to make. Drawn on a reused piece of packaging from STICKII (so ignore the header). Pick up a pen and draw because it makes the soul happy.

The sun being out for longer is so nice omg. I was able to just sit at my desk and draw with natural light 10/10 would recommend. I had this idea to turn the way I’ve started drawing cats into stained glass so stay tuned as I go on that journey. But this was just purely having fun and not thinking as I worked.

Personally I experience a good deal of pain in my dominant hand so on those days I get creative. Using some Patreon art and stickers to still be creative but mindful of pain.
