it took me a loooong while to watch this one, despite the fact that 1) hes one, if not my fave actor of all time. robert deniro was one 0f my first loves as a teenager, aside from bam margera. and 2) mafia/gang/organized crime movies are my absolute favorites!!!
i gues the reason i didnt wanna watch is bc i though it would be shit lol..... and i for some reason thought it would be bad just bc its a modern ''version of a old genre''? i guess,
the music in this one is so so so so soooo good, i cant even underestimate it like omghhhh. esp the bg music that sounds like the god father tune, but not.
the characters are so so so so easy to understand, the director and actors make it so clear this is is a passion for them all. which makes it a complete joy to watch over and over again.
when joe pesci showed up i was gobsmacked holyyy shit. hes always so amazing in his movies. there are TONS of pupularal actors in it as well.
