“aah!! … jesus, warn a guy before you sneak up on him, huh?”  holden had been walking through town on his way back to his apartment when he saw someone approaching out of the corner of his eye, nearly scaring the shit out of him.  he took off his headphones and tilted his head.  “not that i’ve got room to talk, but — what are you doing out so late?”

lorna rests at an empty table near the middle of the bar, feet up with a book in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other. she's content with her reading until she catches a few words of a story that seem a little far fetched in her opinion. when the man catches her staring, the corners of her mouth turn upwards in a small smile. “ just trying to imagine this whole thing going down. don’t worry,” she says, letting go of her book to tap a finger on her temple, “i have a great memory.”

      the town of vernon reminded him much of where he grew up; small & severely lacking in fun opportunities. at least the place had a dive bar he could skulk about in–human watch, as it were. of course, he wasn’t going to be like most text book vampires, sitting around in the dark all by himself. no, he had a group of people around him as he told a wildly unreal story. “And that, my friends, is why you don’t drink by yourself in Panama.” he gave as real of a fake laugh as he could, as the humans joined him in drunken glee. it was then he noticed someone staring, “You know what they say about taking a picture…”

waddup i’m kate and tumblr keeps not following people on me. this is super freaking late bc i’mm a mess but i’m gonna finally get things done today !!

phoebe tonkin, cisfemale, she/her, original werewolf, artist. | i think i spotted lorna deschamps out in the town square. isn’t that the 1000+ / thirty year old who’s been around vernon two years ? from what i see they seem to be fairly vivacious and audacious but they can also be very haughty and boisterous. when i see them i think of lingerie worn as clothing, the scent of a recently blown out candles and paint stains on every possible surface. ( kate, 23, est, she/her )

lorna is an original werewolf which makes her...pretty old but she doesn’t act like it. she’d basically be the polar opposite of elijah mikaelson.

she’s never really stayed in one part of the world and has picked up many languages over the years.

lorna is bi and has had many lovers, exes and been divorced more than once over the years so if you’re looking for an old lover whom your character split with bc she was too childish lorna is a++ for that role.

she’s an artist and has worked with various mediums. she generally focuses on what’s in but she hates digital art as she can’t work a computer for the life of her.

right now she’s been focused on painting and she runs a little gallery in town where she features her own art and other local artists. 

lorna has had about 2 children over the course of her lifetime but i haven’t decided if i want to put up connections for those, all you need to know is that lorna is the worst mom and tends to disappear a lot. sometimes she just, doesn’t come back.

responsibilities ?? are not her strong suit. she’s never payed taxes in her life.

if you think she won’t brag to other werewolves about being older...ur wrong. other originals pls feel free to call her childish and tell her to grow up she’s over 1000 years old.

owns 3 tiny dogs who come and go as they please. no she doesn’t care if they were in our rose garden.

this isn’t pertinent information but she never wears a bra she’s tits out for aphrodite yall.

i’m writing this half asleep at nearly 11am and i am concerned for both me and lorna.

personally wise she’s known for being bright & bubbly. she’s always willing to take bold risks and make decisions even if they might turn out badly. she’s selfish and doesn’t take matters as seriously as she should.
