What do you think was the most pivotal point in Saho and Hanna's relationship?
Ahhhh dn4!!
I'm currently rereading it—it's been a pain daily passing but they are so worth it.
I think the Angel Saho storyline (Ep. 54 to 58) would be the obvious answer, as it completely redefined what devils were to Saho. He never saw himself the same way afterwards; neither did we.
At that point, the biggest thing with Hanna and Saho is that the former is a human, the latter a devil. And this discrepancy is something that allows them to try to understand each other without the burden of a conventional relationship (a human-to-human connection). But learning that angels may become devils after their fall, as well as experience the emotions that were deemed "human", created the need for such a connection. I think it's the first moment Saho considered there was a way other than taking Hanna's soul.
To Hanna, the episodes right before and after this showed her that she was someone's first priority. Saho did not hesitate to destroy their contract—implying his own termination—as a means to guarantee her life. Hanna's character development pre-timeskip revolves around her depression; I've always thought that rather than "companionship", the service Saho gave Hanna as per their contract was to ease her recovery from that. By making her daily life easier, Saho (as a devil) gave Hanna a chance to explore her own identity.
After we—the readers—learn what Saho learned about his and Hanna's past lives, we witness what he doesn't. It's the scene where Hanna begs Mika not to take away her memories. The Hanna of Ep. 58 is someone who wants to hold on to the first time in her life she felt alive. Those memories cause her pain, but they also fuel her desire to live another day. The Hanna of the early chapters would periodically remind herself not to expect too much from Saho, a devil who put up with her because of a contract. The Hanna of the later chapters is someone who acts on her desire to be with Saho and people she loves.
If Hanna's realization that people care about her was a story, Saho's sacrifice (ripping the contract in Ep. 52) would be the climax. It is what makes her comfortable with being proactive when loving people. Hanna, like Saho, gains a different outlook on life and themselves.
Maybe it's not the Angel Saho arc, but the episodes around that (Ep. 52 to 60) that are the turning point in their relationship. Hanna and Saho view themselves differently, which in turn alters their relationship for good.

Something about Myeongji and Yeongho from Fast Forward
Tumblr media
ok supposedly it's normal to see Yeongho and Myeongji holding hands bc Yeongho's powers involved with physical contact the most. But why must their fingers interlace?👀 yknow, as i believe in many romance stories, intertwined hands with interlaced fingers usually happens when a couple finally express genuine feelings towards each other. So why cant Yeongho hold Myeongji's hands normally, like this: 🤝🏻? I know both him and Myeongji didnt deny the rumours saying they're dating although theyre not. So my question is, does the artist purposely draw them this way for fun or theyre trying to hint something? 👀 i know this is trivial and affect nothing much in the storyline but yeah, kinda interested.
