The reason why I’ve been so terribly busy these past couple months :’) I started uni like back in May and finished halfway through August!

First term uni assignments!

This isn’t even all of the artwork I did for this term, but I’m saving everyone the pains of scrolling and just posting the works for Project 2-3.

Project 1 was character conception to design

Project 2 was a two-parter - part one was prop design and part two was the character turnaround

Project 3 (and the final assignment for the term) was also a two-parter - part one focused on environment design and part two was the storyboard!

hi everybody,, after much consideration I’ve decided not to continue the 54 keero drawings. genuinely my mental has not been the best these past weeks and I cannot fathom continuing it with the headspace I am in right now

rest assured, I will still be drawing them,, whether it be doodles or full on illustrations - I love keero dearly but I just cannot continue with the series.

This is written by the same guy, who wrote Andor's final arc:

It's the same guy who said, that seeing Dedra plunge her face into her hands made him emotional every time, that he is thrilled by the Krennic-Dedra confrontation and that it was "awesome seeing her put in her place". And I wonder how many times he has watched that final Dedra scene, he seems to really love rewatching a part he claims to derive no joy from.

If you go on his wikipedia page, you will see that he is a journalist and a critic, best known for being a video game writer. His dad was a marine who served in Vietnam.

Of all the writers they could have hired, they picked a game bro. 😑

For the entire 24 episodes of Andor, they only once hired a woman to direct "Aldhani", "The Axe Forgets" and "The Eye". It was the multiple award winner Susanna White.

But for some reason, they keep acting like accomplished women writers are radioactive.

Anyway, here is the source of that screenshot. And the the top two comments are chef's kiss:

Never ever let anyone convince you, that a debasing character arc is to evoke empathy. Don't let them use your kindness to hide their cruelty.

There was nothing demeaning in Darth Vader's death or even Partagaz' or Lonni's death. You can write tragedy without that. You don't debase characters you have empathy for. And even if you sometimes do, it's not too graphic or too long and it's always followed by some sort of comfort, final respect or silver lining, to make up for it, because you care about them. You don't finish off the story by giving them a fate worse than death, while still praising yourself for having empathy and being a well adjusted person. Or maybe you do, if you are the type of writer who writes things such as "dermally tight jeans", "even the intelligent ones are kind of stupid", "even the ugly girls are kind of pretty" and "women secretly covetous of low-grade harrassement".

been so damn busy with uni work i haven't any time to do these :') but with the trimester ending in two weeks time, i'll be sure to speed through and finish this off! please wait patiently <3
