Okay, this is a different "timeline" in which Jim and Clara don't meet until after the eclipse (Jim and Toby did meet, just in case). Jim is a little shy as he's getting used to his new body, and it's a constant struggle for him. He likes to watch the drama school rehearsals, since Claire is there, but he's just a stagehand.

I'd like to add something personal; it's a recurring idea. For those who don't know, I'm a drummer, bassist, and vocalist, and I decided to use that for this timeline approach. That's the explanation for why Jim likes music and acting.

I just want to say that this is weird even for me, but I've been thinking about it for a long time and just wanted to share it. I hope you find it interesting.

My take on a re-design for season 3 Claire + some head cannons (attempt 2)

I really loved that in the books Claire was punk and wanted to incorporate that more into her design. Shes got her big ol' chunky combat boots & a sorta early development battle vest. I figured that once she gets her white hair post portal incident she would absolutely take full advantage of it and dye it fun colors on the regular. She cut her hair herself (much too her mothers distain lol.) Her cuff piercing is fake (her mom wouldn't let her get anymore after her singles and doubles). She dabbles in makeup sometimes for fun but usually goes without since shes so busy.

I think later I may make a design for post Trollhunters, like maybe during TOA when she's out adventuring with Jim. I can imagine with more freedom she would get a couple more piercings. also the battle vest would totally evolve as the series went on as she adds more patches.

On a serious note I think reverting Jim to human was a poor writing choice. I interpreted Jims's transformation into a half-troll as symbolic of him accepting that he no longer can choose pacifism, thus abandoning his own humanity both physically and morally (during the battle vs. Gumar and Morgana). Reverting Jim into human just kinda... felt like washing away character development. I mean, that was Jim's biggest sacrifice, and then "lolz nevermind! Back to normal" :/

I really want to see an AU of troll hunters where the movie doesn’t exist and jim stays a troll after wizards and it’s jim going back to school as a troll and dealing with that. I just really want to see troll jim just doing normal jim stuff
