Clash of Common Culture in Nepal
# 1 Meals and the label of Nepal
Steamed rice and lentils (Dal and bhat) the basic diet of most of Nepal. One could eat dal and bhat almost twice a day, every day. A foreigner can be strange and monotonous. The culture of trying a new dish at home is quite rare and almost unknown in the rural regions of Nepal.
Nepali prefer to use only one right hand while eating, while, the use of the left hand is completely prohibited. The use of cutlery is rare and the right hand is always very useful when necessary.

# 2 Cleanliness and Cleanliness
It is common to find a squat-hygienic position in Nepalese homes. The use of toilet seat is rare and is mostly found only in local hotels and restaurants. The use of toilet paper is rare in homes.
Due to the lack of water supply in the city, in Kathmandu, and the lack of budget, people choose to clean themselves without the use of a shower. It is quite common to experience people bathing in an ancient way, using the bucket and a cup to pour water on the body.
# 3 Driving and Transportation
In Nepal, it is a rule to drive in a lane on the left. The vehicles are customized and sold to be used while driving in a lane on the left.
The rules of crossing the street using a traffic signal, zebra crossing and tail are rare, therefore, people cross the street in any way they wish, despite the possible dangers.
Expressing love or affection in public; Kisses and hugs, etc., is forbidden, due mainly to the restrictions of culture and lifestyle. People may find it offensive if a couple is seen kissing or hugging in public places; streets, restaurants, etc., therefore, it is highly recommended for a tourist to keep this type of activities inside a room or private place.
Tumblr media
# 5 Label at home
Nepali do not wear their footwear inside their house, mainly because of cultural and lifestyle restrictions and hygiene. It is believed that the footwear carries the germs and evils and should not be taken inside the house, which is quite true, since, on the streets of Nepal they are dirty and dirty, therefore, it is recommended that you remove the shoes before entering the interior of the Nepalese home.
