"rebellions are built on hope" coming from a random ghorman bellhop, who cassian met twice is really the most andor/rogue one thing ever. because he is SO random. they all are. every rebel. every member of rogue one. they are just random, ordinary people, who were willing and brave enough to give up everything for even a chance at freedom. and that is so important

one of the hundred things I love about Andor is that in the end, all the villains were destroyed not in an epic showdown with the rebels or whoever but by the machine that they worked for. syril was a faceless casualty of the genocide he helped create. dedra was done in for putting ambition over conformity to the machine, and she took down partagaz, who essentially created her, along with her. even heert was quite literally killed by his own droid and his own men. all of them were crushed by the wheel they dedicated their lives to keep turning. it's just so deeply deeply satisfying.

Here's a video I took of the Delta animatronic in the queue for VelociCoaster. I could've legit stood there for hours watching her move and I would have been perfectly satisfied with my day. She's so pretty, and utterly mesmerizing to watch, ESPECIALLY in real life. With luck, I'll one day get to visit this ride (and it's awesome queue) again.

Also bonus: While standing in front of her, you can literally feel her breathing. I thought that was a really nice touch.

Sometimes reading Arthuriana feels like reading Alice in Wonderland.

Alice regretted asking the question as soon as she had done so, for she saw the pun that would likely be made about the word point. Instead, however, the room erupted in applause and shouts of “The Grail! She has achieved the Grail!”

The next castle she visited, Alice resolved to herself as the inhabitants of this one danced for joy, would be more sensible.

The boys, instantly: actually we are murderers who place very little value on life. We will save the universe but we are also going to push this guy off a cliff to save spell slots and play keep-away with this child's posessions. And Travis is going to rip the arms off so many robots.

The boys: actually we are only petty theives and are deeply moral people who draw the line at killing and refuse to fight children. Clint is going to have a character arc around the nature of personhood and Griffin is going to adopt this kid.
