SHOULD YOU FIGHT THEM: Scion Edition
(I’m sticking to Scions (past and present) but feel free to share your thoughts on non-scion npcs if you’d like lol)
-
Alphinaud: Don’t fight Alphinaud. He is so small, he is a healer main, he’s already been through his Humbling. Let him rest.
Alisaie: You can fight Alisaie. She is, in fact, begging for you to fight her. Be warned, though: there’s no winning this fight. If you win, she’ll pout. If you lose, you were going easy on her, and she’ll pout even more.
Thancred: Don’t fight Thancred. He’s got enough going on. I understand why that would inspire you to want to fight Thancred but honestly the brief satisfaction you’d get wouldn’t be worth probably making him feel worse about himself.
Y’shtola: I can’t see a situation where you’d win this fight but, like, she wouldn’t kill you. She’d mostly be mildly irritated that you wasted her time, but would welcome keeping her skills fresh. You can fight Y’shtola.
Lyse: You can fight Lyse. You should fight Lyse. This is where her skills lie and this is the kind of communication she understands. Please fight Lyse.
Papalymo: Don’t fight Papalymo. He has better things to do and wouldn’t even get the small enjoyment out of it Y’shtola would. It would be pointless and you’d get your ass handed to you. Not worth it.
Urianger: You can fight Urianger. I have no further reasoning for this I just wanna see it.
Tataru: DO NOT FIGHT TATARU. I REPEAT: DO. NOT. FIGHT. TATARU.
Krile: You can fight Krile. She’s eager for the practice. It’ll be good for her. Just don’t hurt her please. She’s best girl.
G’raha: You can fight G’raha. He might start out a little afraid to hurt you but he’d get over it quickly and it would become Alisaie-level competitiveness. Unquestionably a good time.
Estinien: You can absolutely fight Estinien. This is the most win-win scenario in the world; either he wins but enjoyed the experience and doesn’t kill you, or you win and he gains the highest respect for you. Either way this man is now your best friend and would kill for you. Congrats.

Miuna: The answer is yes. If she likes you, you are family, and there is no escaping it. Good luck 83 (She also has an actual blood-related sibling, but for the most part, she calls everyone family.)
Lily-Bell: After the First, Thancred is her big brother, and the twins are her siblings.
Everleigh: Generally doesn't place that type of bond on other people, but slowly she starts thinking of the Scions as her second family. The squabble a bit more than she's used to, but there's a comfortable nature to it.

Does your OC have any inclination to play beach games or are they above such things?
Miuna would *love* playing beach games, though she's more for being in the water as opposed to on the sand.
Lily-Bell is not big on the beach, but she could be talked into it with the right pair of pleading eyes. It's a good thing no one expects her to be the stern parent, she would fail at it utterly.
Everleigh *acts* like she's above beach games, but the minute you invoke her competitive side, you're fucked. So it's probably best to not do that.

Short Summer OC Ask List.
Does your OC enjoy sunbathing or do they prefer to keep to the shade?
What is your OC's favourite summertime treat? Ice Cream? Sorbet? Or perhaps a chilled cocktail?
Does your OC have any inclination to play beach games or are they above such things?
What is their priority when choosing their swimwear? Practicality? Modesty? Or are they aiming to be as sexy as possible? What is the finished result?
How does your OC prefer to spend their time when the sun goes down? A quiet drink and gazing at the stars? Watching the fireworks? Or something more raucous?
Is your OC a confident swimmer? How do they feel about swimming in the sea as opposed to a pool?
How does your OC keep cool on hot sweltering nights? Do they struggle to sleep?
What is your OC's favourite summertime activity? Are they competitive or more keen to relax? Do they like an audience to witness their high dives? Or would they sooner hide away with a book?
Would your OC be the first to leap in the water to save a struggling stranger? Or would they leave it to someone else?
How does your OC feel about sand? Are they irritated by it getting into places they'd rather it didn't? Or do they accept it as a fact of life?

Dreams are often funny things. I had an odd one on the last leg of my journey, though I admit, it's not the first time. I've been having this one about once a week since I left home, of a dark man trying to stand between me and something else. That red mask, and the markings on his robes must mean something, mustn't they? But what?
The merchant I shared the cart with woke me. I must have been talking in my sleep, but he said I didn't say anything coherent. The moogles were admittedly a surprise. I'd always thought they were kitten tales, but clearly not. True to legend, the merchant couldn't see them. I wonder why I could?
Especially since there's a moggle hanging around across from the amphitheater everyone gets their messages from. Moogle mail, how cute!
Miyahn's not here yet, she said she'd let me settle in a bit before asking me to join in on her travels. Something about getting used to the aether in the air, though I feel fine?
Ah well. I've met my guildmaster, and I admit, I've never seen a person like him before. I can't tell if he's an older teen or an adult; he's shorter than I am, which says a lot, but he has an air about him of competence. He says my first teacher is outside the bounds of the town, and I should practice my aero and stone spells before I leave, so I shall be doing that before I venture beyond the gates.
I'm learning real magic, after years of being told I need to focus on my practical skills. I feel like a kit again!

Updates!
I have updated the character list and removed the pictures. Crys, Hope, and Star are all being removed as concepts (because goodness knows I have enough chaos already.) Mi'una, Lily-Bell, and Everleigh remain!

I still have not managed to brain enough to snag ask memes and start again with lore days.
Instead, have an Alert! Mi'una is going through a *revision process*! The Healer In Pink series is about to be archived/deleted and *rewritten* because I am, in fact, restarting this character from Scratch because her lore got too complicated. XD We're taking her back down from the Harem and the intersection of Too Many WoL/Other OCs, and will revise as I go.
(She will still not be Primary WoL until Stormblood, because that is actually the perfect transition point, but still)

"...Say my name." - Themis When I first saw this moment, I melted because damn Themis looked fine as hell here; if this scene was voiced, it would've been over for me XD I been wanting to draw this part for a good while which I finally got around to working and finishing this screenshot redraw. This moment is from the cutscene, "Masks of the Father" during the Pandaemonium questline (Endwalker).
