Intramurals

Today was the first day of intramurals! Today was very fun and memorable. Before we started, we had a small parade in school and an open ceremony. We used our props during the parade until we arrived at Songcal. Some parents and younger grades were already there. Once the teams gathered, the opening ceremony started. After the opening ceremony, we took an oath. After the oath, the leaders of each team did a banner race! Lightning Jamz won the banner race. After that, the higher grades performed their band performances. They played many songs, and people sang along with them too! They were screaming their lungs out. After the band performance, grades 1–4 did their dance performance. When the dance performance finished, they continued with the band until it was time to go back. but this time the band players were of a different grade. It was fun because everyone was singing along, and some students were running around the area. In the afternoon, the physical games started, like badminton, table tennis, and volleyball.

Today was the second day of intramurals! This morning we went to Songcal, and the games we played were basketball and soccer baseball for the whole morning. While in the middle of the games, some of the lightning were crying because the Golden Flames were winning most of the sports and they were afraid that Golden would win. The teachers said there would be a continuation of the games tomorrow. We went back to school early because it was one of our classmates' birthday. Some of the lightning Jamz stayed since they were assigned to help with props, and the ones who weren’t called waited for their parents to pick them up.

Today was the last day of intramurals! This morning we went to Songcal to do the continuation of all of the spots. After we went back to school, we stayed outside because the props were inside the classroom. Some of the leaders stayed to help the teachers with the Lightning Jamz banner. We also watched the Golden Flames practice outside. Some stayed inside the classroom since it was cold there, or they were told to assist. When they were done doing their practice, they gave them a break, so we did our practice next. After the leaders also gave us a break, some of us stayed in the classroom since it was cold while eating. While we were eating, we helped cut and keep the left-over gold foil and put it in a separate bag to use it for confetti. Then our leader told us to line up to go to Songcal. When we arrived there, we saw two dogs, but they were chained. Some students tried to pet the dog. It was very hot, but what we did was blocking and we also practiced there. after we went back to school since it was lunch. Some went home, and they were told to come back to school instead of going ahead to school. After lunch, we played and prepared our hair, then went inside our classroom to get ready and wear the costume. After changing, we went back to the classroom, and we helped other students with their costumes. Then we made a line, and we went to Songcal after. Our parents are already there, so we stayed in one place. The first performance was the Mr. and Mrs. Intrams, and the first cheerdance was the Golden Flames. Then it was a lightning jam. Before we went, we did a small prayer. After the cheerdance, Mr. and Mrs. Intrams did their performance in their sport costumes. after the announcements of the awardings. Lightning Jamz won, and the Golden Flames also won some awards! The lightning was very happy and kept on screaming. After we were happy, we helped clean. It was a very fun and memorable day for me
