when you first found me, my wings were plucked raw. your skin was scabbed and bleeding. i cried into your wounds to cleanse them. my downy fluff is growing back now, before too long i might take wing. i want to taste the sea-breeze, but how can i when i've become your skin and bone, plastered on top of your slowly healing heart? his thorny tendrils are still in there and if you breathe too hard you might bleed. my fresh feathers are drenched, but i keep my breast close enough to you that you can't, won't see. so when the time comes, i'll take that plunge. you can jump with me or find some other poor sod to wipe up your blood. you won't be risking much. you know that even if we don't fly i will always break your fall. will you nurse me? set every porcelaine bone and bathe me, feed me? will you leave me for dead? or will you do the kind thing and snap my neck?

as a lesbian who is unsure if i will ever be able to live life As A Lesbian bc of violent homophobia, it Can Be ranging from mildly aggravating to absolutely sickening to see those “let bi girls date boys!” posts. not bc everything Has to be about lesbians or about gay people, but Realistically, no one is stopping that from happening. and as a lesbian who might never be able to Live That Life it makes me extremely sad to see posts like that bc in the end that’s always going to be more accepted. biphobic lesbians & gay men exist as we are well aware, and their comments & aggression at bi people in het-paired relationships, claiming they shouldn’t be part of the community, & so on and so forth is disgusting & shouldn’t be happening. that’s something we need to work on. bi people are lgbt & should be able to date whoever they want without concern for their own community coming after them & claiming that they’re not gay enough bc of who their partner is at the time. it’s not that important, & no matter who they’re dating, they’re still bi and still part of this community.

nonetheless i am asking for a little empathy. biphobic lesbians Are Out There & way more common than they should be and we need to rid the community of them. but also a lot of us others are dealing with a lot of pain in relation to our gayness, & posts like that can bring out some seriously bad feelings of resentment bc of our own situations.

if both sides could have some compassion it would be cool.

i really do want to live in the US, just not... in the next 4 years u know. i mean ça tombe bien since i probably won’t finish my degree til then anyway but still.................. i feel v strongly that i belong There, or else in dublin. switzerland is feeling more and more wrong for me by the day.
