A Note for My Teacher
I wouldn't have learned so much more if not for you teaching us your knowledge and funny stories. I appreciate your support and patience in teaching and explaining topics we don't quite understand. Your passion for teaching and learning more have made a big difference in how I understand mathematics.
Thank you for always encouraging us to think critically and not just memorize. I will always appreciate the way you break things down, and it made math achievable.

Mathematics
Mathematics has always been a tough subject for me. It’s given me more than a few headaches, but that doesn’t change the fact that it holds valuable lessons—not just in numbers, but in life. Through this journey, I’ve grown a new appreciation for math. Even if it was only for a short time, I believe my interest will continue to grow as we explore more topics.
One concept I think I’ll carry with me is combinations of n objects chosen. We first covered this in Statistics 1, and revisiting it in Math 3 deepened my understanding. Who knows—maybe combinations will even play a role in my future research journey.

What concepts have you mastered the least?
What I have mastered least is solving arithmetic sequences. I may have understood these topics, however, confusions fill me up that I tend to not know what step to take and solve. I was not able to fully practice that skill, especially since there are lots of formulas to learn.

What concepts have you mastered most?
have mostly mastered the concepts of combinations and binomial expansions, and lastly, Pascal's Triangle. It was easier to memorize as it had patterns, unlike other concepts, however, there were some difficulties encountered during the process -- in solving and memorizing.

What concepts were the most interesting / inspiring?
For me, the most interesting topic will be binomial expansion and Pascal’s Triangle. I felt inspired when I came across it in our book—it refreshed my interest in math and made me excited to solve related problems. I found it especially interesting as I gained a deeper understanding of how Pascal’s Triangle works and how to expand a binomial even without using the triangle.

What concepts did you find easy to learn?
The easiest topics to learn would also be the geometric partial series. They were straight to the point and it didn't need any more complex thinking to figure out answers, except for memorizing the formula. I will just need more practice exercises and memorization on how to solve the missing terms.

Which topic did you find most enjoyable?
I especially enjoyed the lecture on geometric sequences and series. The different examples showing how shapes are removed step by step in a figure made the topic really engaging. One example that stood out was the Sierpinski sieve from the textbook—it was fascinating to see how the pattern developed. I don’t think I would have found geometric sequences this interesting if we hadn’t worked through them together in class.

Math 3 Fourth Quarter
This quarter was again a total roller coaster ride for me. Although the lessons are easily understood, I still struggle with memorization, especially in formulas.
There will always be a time where "ay wow andali pala nito" becomes "wait pano ulit to isolve?". These moments are always the best, as it challenges, yet also enhances my skills in mathematics.
A mixed feeling of unsureness and confidence engulfs me as we discuss more complex topics. But, without my peers and teacher's undying support and help, I wouldn't have gotten this far in Math 3.
