Sometimes I think I'm too nice...I forgive situations and people that I believe other people wouldn't. Yes, I had my time to hurt and hate. We are all human. We all make mistakes and have cruel feelings. But, time heals all things. You can only spite for so long. Wishing others harm is never good. More people should think logically. Put yourself in the other's shoes and ask yourself would you act any different? There's a reason for people's actions. Wrong or right, you can not fully understand unless you are them. And it is crazy how fast things can change. I think everyone should be kind to one another despite the past, despite how you felt before. I find myself often asking why I forgive or sympathize with people who have hurt me. Most people would never help someone who's hurt them. Most would fight back, hate them, say "you're on your own." That isn't me. Because half the time? I've been where you've been. I've felt how you've felt. And even though you may not "deserve" my sympathy. I give it. Because I never want anyone to hurt the way I have hurt in the past. We can help each other. The answer is forgiveness. More people should forgive. Please, think about your "enemies" today and let go of your spite. If you can not, that is okay. The time will come where it won't matter anymore and you'll move past it. Holding onto anger and wishing horrible things is not healthy. I wish that for everyone. I think the biggest strength comes with those who can truly forgive the people that have hurt them the most. I'm not saying make amends, just being able to have peace with whatever person or situation. 🖤
