Project Pan for June (photo from the 1st)

Shiseido eyeshadow stick - finished.
Maybelline blush - patchy, takes off any makeup underneath, I find it so unusable that I'm giving up on using all of it.
Things I wasn't trying to pan but did anyway - Fenty loose powder mini - butter (clearance, nz $27.30) very loose to the point I felt like I was inhaling it.
LYS concealer - MN3 ($30 when I got it, price increase since) good shade, not too orange. Nice, but not really $30 nice.

Project pan from 31st of March, redid account for organisation.
As per expectation, the Loreal mechanical eye pencil is finished. Apparently Loreal is partially owned by Nestle, so in the interests of not supporting child labour and baby poisoning, I'm never getting that again.
Both foundations have significantly more use, and everything else looks more of less the same.

From Jan 21st, 2025, re-made account for organisation reasons.
I’m trying to motivate myself to use up cosmetics I’d otherwise neglect, and posting it online for nobody to see is more fun than having a google document to keep track of it. I’ll also do mini reviews sometimes, because I want to, and there’s the slim chance of it being helpful for somebody else on the interweb.
Maybelline Cheek Heat Blush: Fuschia Spark I don’t really like too much blush and find this a bit patchy. There’s less left in the tube than it looks like, this should be done within the year.
The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer: Not a really necessary product for me, sometimes I mix it with things. Aiming to finish within the year.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation: 75 Golden Decent foundation, though the shade is a bit warmer and darker than I like. It can apply a bit dry, despite its balmy cream formula, so works better with wetter/oilier skin prep. I usually use a piece of sponge or fingers to apply this. I’ve already hit pan on this, I intend to finish it this year.
KVD Good Apple Skin Perfecting Foundation Balm: Medium 027. This is not a bad foundation, but for the price (NZ$87 full price, it was marked down significantly when I bought it but I don’t know how much. Plus shipping as it’s online only.) it should be better. I find to get a good finish on this foundation I have to work it into the skin quite well, otherwise it can look a bit mask-like on me. I have dry skin, and find it doesn’t so much look matte as it does smooth. Typically I use a dense brush in circular scrubbing motions. I don’t think high end products should require excess effort to work (neither should cheap ones, but it’s more understandable). Considering it’s reasonably full, I want to aim to use up at least half of this by the end of the year.
Shiseido Kajal Ink Artist: 12 Golden Gilt I bought this on clearance for $5, and since it’s getting a bit dry I want to use it up before it goes manky. It’s a nice sparkly gold. Intend to use it all up this year.
Loreal Infallible Grip Gel Automatic Eyeliner: 004 Brown Denim: Aiming to be done within two months.
Designer Brands Lush Moisturising Lipstick: Antique Rose: Feels lovely on the mouth, but not a colour I like on myself right now. Intend to finish this year.
Mecca Max Lipstick: Rumour Mill I find this can get a bit dry and gloppy on my lips, and the colour is a bit orangey for my tastes. It works well mixed with the other lipsticks. Should be finished this year.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick: Coffee Shimmer This lipstick has a weird fruity-cinnamon-crayon smell, which, combined with the colour, discourages me from wearing it more. It is quite full, so my goal is to use at least half of it this year.
