Got a menu base working. But not as intended yet. The game isn't actually saving, it just fires a series of random texts so that it looks like it's doing something.

It's been months since I've actually drawn something. Been experimenting with animations and fluid movements in Unreal, didn't make much progress...
I'll make some concept art to take a break from that for a bit.🚭

Alright, after some trouble shooting I managed to make the default animations work with my character!
The trick was to export the character without a topnode or a group with all the objects.
Now I can make custom animations by using the default ones as a base.

Updated the textures a bit. I'm now looking into rigging and animations.
The shoulders looks off because there aren't any bones in them.

Texture mock-up for testing. Not too bad if I do say so myself, was worried that it wouldn't look right but when I switched to flat lighting it kind of works.
There's only a tiny bit of shading but the rest will be added later.

Unwrapping went actually pretty well. Now working on to make the most use of the empty space. It’s like doing a puzzle but a bit more difficult.

I’m finally done with most of the modeling work. I got stuck with the hands and hair for a while but I pushed forward and managed to fix it.
Unwrapping should be fun.

All the logos I made during Inktober. I noticed that these are a bit larger than last year. I had fun doing them. Next year I'll try taking it easy if I do it again.

I've done it, 31 submissions!
The reason why I started doing Inktober is to force myself to finish a drawing. If I don't then I'd be working on it forever without ever finishing it. This helps me move on and start on the next one.

30 Second to last, I'm actually surprised that I've made it this far with every single day.

I'm starting to like this way of shading. It gives a solid texture and I should do it more often.

A little bit gothic this time?

Made some progress again with the model. The hair is more solid now.
I'm redoing the torso because there were some problems with the topology. Now it looks a lot more smoothly.
I'm actually kind of excited how it comes together nicely!I still have a long way to go but it's going to be a bit easier from this point onwards.

Don’t worry he’ll be fine. He’s wearing a helmet.
