Yeahh, it's 8 years elementary and then 3-5 years of middle school, depends where u go :3. In rare moments I do talk to people here and say I'm in middle school, they're like "omg, you're so young" and I'm just... Polish. I think we had a system like other countries for some time, but it failed and we went back to this.

Polish education system is funny, because most people from different countries my age are in high school, but I'll graduate middle school when I'm 19.
