Oh no, that sucks! Maybe just give her time and try to just be her friend for now, and she might open back up to you eventually. My girlfriend and I went through a lot of phases of girlfriends/not girlfriends when things got too intense for the first couple years. But you also deserve to be with someone who looks at you!! Keep your hopes up because she did confess her feelings to you, but be prepared that she might not be as ready for that step as she thought. I wish you the best 💚

Oh my gosh, thank you so much!!! We have been together for four happy years now. I haven't felt that yearning in a looooong time, it was almost surprising drawing this comic and remembering those feelings. That pain we felt as teenagers was so heartbreaking and intense, but in a safe and happy environment it all melted away. I am both glad that I can give other young people some solidarity, and deeply sad that others have to go through it. As cliche as it is, things really do get so much better. Thank you so much for reaching out! I love hearing from people that have read the comic 💕

BTW, we still live in Michigan! There is a big trans and queer community here, especially southeast MI. We are truly everywhere!

Hey guys. So I’ve never done this before, but times are tough. I’m moving this weekend so the majority of my last paycheck went to my security deposit and other fees for the new apartment. My bank account is empty and I have bills coming out automatically starting with $70 for my phone bill tomorrow. I’ve been doing my best not to ask my parents for help anymore, but my friends are all as poor as me and we can’t always support each other financially as we’d like. So if anyone can spare a dollar or so please consider helping this queer boy out. If you can’t pitch in, please reblog this so maybe someone who has the money will see it. I really hope to get what I need by tomorrow because my bank charges me $38 for overdrawing my account. And they’ll keep charging me again and again every time another automatic payment is withdrawn. Thank you.
