I've been with the series since the Game Cube days. I get it. He was a creeper. His character development as a result of finally having a family (and being back at sea) is why I like him nowadays.

PS: I've always assumed your character is supposed to be an adult.

The original gets off with "not a fan" on the grounds he's the original. As a said before, NH ruined him by making him utterly obnoxious to deal with.

New Horizons made me hate Gulliver because of how obnoxious it is to deal with him. Then they decided we needed A SECOND ONE when there was already too many visitors. Gullivaaar manages to be even worse by forcing you to go diving.

They should have given the pirate theme and items to JOLLY REDD and let Redd have exclusive items again. Plus, Redd is actually a criminal like pirates are.

I outright ignore him now when he washes up on my island.

In the Game Cube she would ILLEGALLY PARK and force you to clean her car. Cleaning her car was a damn near impossible minigame that even turbo controllers could fail. All you got in return was a special clothing pattern (that was all clothing was)

Even in later games she was usually quite mean :\

Fun side note: She and Saharah were both originally dudes in Japan.
