I could not find any applicable or decent tutorials on framing crochet tapestry soooooo I had to figure it out as I went. If I do this again I’ll probably make a full guide/tutorial on it but for now I just have some wip pics.

Essentially I staple gunned the projects to some plywood and built the frames around it. The most annoying part was assembling the frames but I think that’s just because it’s frames.

I kept these rolled up on my shelf so I forgot how big they actually are,,,

Sooooo I finished this a while ago but forgot to post it here. Whoops.

Original and my finished pattern. I use stitch fiddle for all of my projects and this took about 6 hours of editing overall.

This project took me exactly 2 months! I had a few small projects I did at the same time but that averages out to 353 stitches a day

I actually kept up with updates for this project and you can find those in my #nmnr orv crochet tag.

My tiny ass hand vs YJH’s

I had to buy extra blocking mats for this project bc it was so large (took 4x4 mats to properly block it). I also took literally over 100 pics trying to get a decent angle and eventually just had to settle with the one up top.

Size of this one (bottom) vs the other d0gtoothjones orv tapestries I’ve done. For anyone who crochets, I used weight 4 yarn for all of these and a 4.0mm hook for the top two and a 3.75mm hook for this one. Had I used a 4.0 hook, I think this would’ve been ~36x32 inches instead of 34x30.
