The Greek Gods Legacy: A legacy challenge for the Sims 4
This is a 10 generation legacy challenge I thought about randomly one day remembering my childhood hyperfixation on Greek mythology. There are a few legacy challenges based around this concept already out there but I wanted to create my own! Some other versions of this challenge can be found here and here. Please check out these other challenges & find one you enjoy if my rendition isn't for you. Thank you & any helpful feedback would be appreciated!
BASIC RULES:
Cheats are allowed, play how you like to play!
Each generation is given a few colors that you can use as their color scheme, but it is totally optional. The traits, career, aspiration & skills listed under each generation are not optional & must be assigned & completed fully in order to move on to the next generation
The heirs can be of any gender, but I would recommend naming them the exact names of the gods/goddesses they are based after. I have tried to make the rules for each generation as genderless as possible so you can freely pick what gender you prefer to play with
There are 2 generations with 2 heir options: simply pick one of the heirs to play with & only focus on the requirements for the heir you chose, even if the other option is in your active household
Feel free to change any aspect of the challenge that you want to! Don't have a certain pack mentioned in multiple generations? Just skip those rules or substitute them with whatever you want & have fun with it!
Generation 1: Zeus/Hera
Zeus - God of the Sky & Weather (White, Indigo, Yellow)
Traits: Noncommittal, High Maintenance & Ambitious Career: Astronaut (Space Ranger branch) Aspiration: Successful Lineage Skills: Handiness, Rocket Science
Become a Spellcaster, reach the highest level & gain immortality
Own & fully upgrade a weather machine; change the weather to a thunder storm whenever your main emotion is negative & clear/sunny whenever your main emotion is positive
Buy the "Storm Chaser" trait from the reward store
Declare "stormy" as favorite weather type
Marry a feminine presenting sim named Hera & cheat on them very often
Have multiple children outside of your marriage
Adopt a child named Athena; this is the next heir
Have a negative relationship with all of your children except for the next heir
Never divorce your spouse, even if they catch you cheating
Hera - Goddess of Marriage & Fertility (Blue, Green, Teal)
Traits: Jealous, Mean, Family-Oriented Career: Doctor Aspiration: Soulmate Skills: Parenting, Logic
Become a Spellcaster & learn all of the Mischief & Untamed Magic spells
Buy the "Fertile" trait from the reward store
Marry a masculine presenting sim named Zeus & have 5 children with them
Catch your spouse cheating on you at least once but never divorce them
Gain the "Strained" romance dynamic with your spouse
Become enemies with all of the people your spouse cheats on you with as well as the children they have with your spouse
Use your spellcaster abilities against your enemies
Have a positive relationship with all of your biological children; have a negative relationship with your spouse's adopted child
Fall in love with a coworker & emotionally cheat, but never make the cheating physical
Generation 2 - Athena
Athena - Goddess of War, Wisdom & Handicrafts (Sky Blue, Grey, Light Yellow)
Traits: Genius, Perfectionist, Hot Headed Career: Engineer (either branch) Aspiration: Renaissance Sim Skills: Robotics, Cross Stitching, Knitting, Logic
Begin cross stitching & knitting as a child & continue to do so into adulthood
Join the Chess Team in high school
Buy the "Night Owl" trait from the reward store
Get an A in high school & graduate early
Get a distinguished degree in either Physics or Computer Science
Join the Bot Savants University Organization & fall in love with another member
Have a baby during your last semester in university with your partner, only for them to die before or right after the baby is born
Never get married or date after this
Create a Servo-Bot & name them after your partner
Have a neutral relationship with your child as they remind you too much of your loss to either hate or love
Generation 3 - Hades
Hades - God of the Underworld (Black, Silver, Dark Purple)
Traits: Gloomy, Loner, Macabre Career: Reaper Aspiration: Ghost Historian Skills: Thanatology
Move to Forgotten Hollow as a Young Adult & live in a large, abandoned home that has the "Spooky" lot challenge (can also be a Haunted House Residential but that isn't necessary)
Have no friends or enemies for most of your life, simply just have acquaintances
Buy the "Brave" and "Needs No One" traits from the reward store
After one week of living in Forgotten Hollow, a young feminine presenting sim named Persephone comes into your life, becoming your first friend
Invite Persephone to your household & marry them
Persephone should declare "sunny" as their favorite weather type & should go on vacation during the summer & spring seasons (either move them out during these seasons or literally go on vacation with them)
Have at least one child with your spouse
Befriend ghost sims after marriage
Bring your dead parent back to life & finally befriend the previous heir
Own 3 dogs that are "aggressive" breeds
Generation 4 - Ares
Ares - God of War (Red, Crimson, Gold)
Traits: Evil, Erratic, Self-Assured Career: Military (Covert Operator branch) Aspiration: Public Enemy Skills: Fitness, Logic
Join the Football Team as a teenager
Gain an atrocious reputation
Have a negative relationship with at least 10 sims, 5 of which being declared enemies
Get into at least 20 fights
Become a vampire
Have multiple flings/relationships with various sims
Have multiple children with different people & never interact with mostly all of them
Have twins (one boy, one girl) with a sim, marry the sim you have them with & raise the twins (cheat the the twins if necessary)
Have a happy marriage until the twins become toddlers or older; the marriage then will fall apart & you will divorce your spouse
In the divorce, your ex spouse gets one of the twins while you get the other; whichever twin you keep in the active household will be the next heir
Have a full friendship bar with the next heir & a full negative friendship bar with the other twin
Generation 5 - Artemis/Apollo
Artemis - Goddess of the Moon & Wild Animals (Light Green, Light Brown)
Traits: Rancher, Loves the Outdoors, Animal Enthusiast Career: N/A or Player's Choice Aspiration: Country Caretaker, Werewolf Skills: Pet Training, Herbalism
Live in Moonwood Mill on the empty lot
Explore the tunnels of Moonwood Mill, resulting in you becoming a werewolf
Always have at least one pet in the household at all times; at some point, have a horse, dog and a cat at the same time
Own at least one of each farm animal (chicken, cow, llama, mini goat & mini sheep)
Have a full friendship bar with all of your animals
At least gain the Veterinarian skill & make vet treats when needed for your pets
Buy the "Night Owl" trait from the reward store
Every full moon, harvest a moonpetal & attend the Full Moon Revelry in Ravenwood
Marry another werewolf & have at least 3 children with them (the heir should not be a werewolf but they might be born as one; just cure them or cheat them to be a non-occult sim)
Cure yourself of being a werewolf once you finish the Werewolf aspiration
Apollo - God of Music, Art & Light (Orange, Gold & Off-White)
Traits: Music Lover, Outgoing & Proper Career: Entertainer (Musician branch) Aspiration: Musical Genius Skills: Violin, Piano, Guitar
Play the violin as a child as much as possible
Live in a warm climate town (such as Oasis Springs, Chestnut Ridge, etc.)
Write poem books & paint paintings in your free time
Visit museums often
Declare "sunny" as your favorite weather & always go out on the town when the forecast is "sunny"
Throw fancy parties every Saturday where you perform songs and read poems to the guests
Buy the "Morning Sim" trait from the reward store
Marry a sim of the same sex but have relationships with sims of all genders before marriage
Have at least one science baby with your spouse & another baby with a different sim (can happen before or during marriage)
Generation 6 - Poseidon
Poseidon - God of the Sea & Horses (Ocean Blue & Seafoam Green)
Traits: Child of the Ocean, Horse Lover & Freegan Career: Conservationist (Marine Biology branch) Aspiration: Championship Rider Skills: Horse Riding, Logic
Live on a lot by the ocean in Sulani with the "Off the Grid" lot challenge
Help restore the islands of Sulani
Complete the Sulani Treasures collection
Own an "immortal" horse that you fully train & compete in championships with
Shower in the rain, ocean or waterfall as much as possible
Befriend a dolphin
Fall in love with a feminine presenting sim named Amphitrite that is a mermaid & has the "Child of the Islands" trait
Have spouse summon the Island Elementals & then have a child with one (this will be the next heir)
Have 4 children with your spouse
Generation 7 - Demeter
Demeter - Goddess of Agriculture (Olive Green, Auburn)
Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Good, Family Oriented Career: Gardener (Botanist branch) Aspiration: Freelance Botanist Skills: Gardening
Live in Henford-on-Bagley in either the Old New Henford or Bramblewood neighborhoods
Home lot must have the "Simple Living" lot challenge & the "Great Soil" lot trait
Buy the "Green Thumb" trait from the reward store
Grow one large crop of each kind (lettuce, pumpkin, aubergine & watermelon)
Compete in the various fairs held in Henford-on-Bagley & win at least one
Grow one of each type of plant (excluding the alien plants & werewolf/vampire related ones)
Use the "Gift of Sulani" interaction on all of your crops at least once
Grow all crops to perfect quality
Gain the "Outdoorsy" lifestyle
Marry a sim of any gender & have at least 3 children with them
Generation 8 - Aphrodite
Aphrodite - Goddess of Love & Beauty (Pink, Light Purple, Light Teal)
Traits: Romantic, Self-Absorbed, Snob Career: Romance Guru (Matchmaker branch) Aspiration: Romantic Explorer, Paragon Partner Skills: Romance, Charisma
As a teen, sneak out of the house to go on dates with various sims & fight with parents about this
Become/get another sim pregnant as a teen (or as soon as you become a young adult)
Have a negative relationship with both of your parents & move in with your partner as soon as you become a young adult
Live in Tartosa as soon as possible
Buy the "Great Kisser" & "Beguiling" traits from the reward store
Gain the "Hungry for Love" lifestyle
Have at least 5 friends that you help hook up with others
Halfway through your adulthood, your parents demand that you marry a local masculine presenting sim named Hephaestus who you view as unattractive & have awful compatibility with; marry him despite not wanting to
While married, have a baby with Hephaestus & 2 more with 2 other sims outside of the marriage (this excludes your first child)
The baby you have with your spouse will be the next heir
Get caught cheating & divorce your spouse
Generation 9 - Dionysus
Dionysus - God of Wine & Festivity (Purple, Green & Gold)
Traits: Party Animal, Foodie & Insider Career: Actor Aspiration: Party Animal, Master Actor Skills: Acting, Nectar Making, Mixology
As a child/teen, join the drama club & reach level 5 of the acting skill by adulthood
By adulthood, own a club with 5 of your childhood friends
Begin making wine & various mixed drinks and host wine tasting parties for your friends at least 2 times a week
Become a 5-star celebrity & gain the "Juiced Up" celebrity quirk
Live in Del Sol Valley's Pinnacles neighborhood in a Mediterranean inspired mansion
Fall in love with one of your friends & have a baby with them
After having the baby, cool off the romantic relationship with your friend & raise the baby alone
Stay single until you are about to become an elder & then reconnect with your friend & marry them
You can have children with other sims, but you must only have the one baby/pregnancy with your future spouse
Generation 10 - Hermes
Hermes - God of Travel & Trickery (Burnt Orange, Blue, Gold)
Traits: Adventurous, Outgoing, Kleptomaniac Career: Paranormal Investigator Aspiration: Friend of the World, Extreme Sports Enthusiast Skills: Mischief, Rock Climbing
Buy the "Paranormal Investigator License" from the reward store
Live in Ravenwood
Every week go on vacation to a new world, never staying at the same lot twice
While vacationing you must specific these worlds & do these activities at some point:
Mt Komorebi - Climb Mt. Komorebi successfully
Selvadorada - Raid a tomb & get to at least level 3 of the Selvadoradian Culture & Archeology skills
Granite Falls - Visit the Hermit & get to at least level 3 of the Herbalism skill
Strangerville - Solve the Strangerville mystery
Sulani - Drive a water vehicle, get sunburnt & attend a local festival
Ciudad Enamorada - WooHoo in the motel
Take a photo on every vacation & hang them up in your home
On each vacation & gig, you must steal 1 item while there
Gain the "Frequent Traveler" lifestyle
Befriend one of each type of occult
Own a voodoo doll
Own a museum or collectibles shop (either through Businesses & Hobbies or Get to Work) where you show off or sell your stolen goods

MIDWEST PRINCESS LEGACY
A fifteen generation legacy challenge based on the songs from Chappell Roan’s ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’, including a bonus generation of her hit single ‘Good Luck, Babe!’. Each generation will have a different set of goals and requirements before the new heir takes over. Check out my video where I introduce the challenge in more detail: https://youtu.be/bWn7UVu-upc
Rules:
Aging must be turned on, but you can have it at any length you wish.
Each goal must be met before the new heir takes over.
NO MONEY CHEATS.

Vague guidelines/suggestions:
Heir should be female-presenting.
Some generations require specific careers. If it is not specified, you can have any career you want. Same goes for worlds to live in.
Each generation offers two colours. You can use both of them, one of them, or neither of them, it is up to you. You can use them as much or as little as you wish as well.
Mods and custom content can be used.
The generations will offer three traits, you do not need the heir to have all three traits, but they MUST have at least TWO of them.
If you cannot add any of the required traits when the heir is a child, you are able to choose another trait and change it to the correct trait when available (either as a teen or YA). You can do this through cheats in CAS. But the same rule applies that you must have at least two of the offered traits by the time the heir is a YA.
If you do not have all of the packs required to complete the requirements for each generation, either find a similar alternative or skip that rule. But where possible, you must complete each generation requirement.

Disclosure: Most of the generations are played from the perspective of the first-person narrative sung by Chappell, however generation 8 and 15 (‘My Kink Is Karma’ and ‘Good Luck, Babe!’) are written from the perspective of the person Chappell is singing about. It offered more story-telling opportunities this way and allowed the player to do more gameplay.

THE GENERATIONS
Generation 1 - Femininomenon Well, what we really need is a femininomenon
You always thought you would find your ‘one true love’ and settle down together, because that’s what you’re supposed to do, right? You try your hand at online dating, but it never seems to work out, and you make friends with women who have similar experiences to you. You decide to band together and give up on guys, who needs them anyway? You vow to help queer sims find love that they truly deserve.
Requirements:
Go on multiple failed online dates
Start a club with close girl friends
Reach level ten of the romance consultant career
Raise a child with one/some of your girl friends
Own a rental with only sapphics for tenants
Traits: ambitious, unflirty, genius Aspiration: neighbourhood confidante Colours: hot pink and green
Generation 2 - Red Wine Supernova Baby, why don’t you come over? Red wine supernova, falling into me
Wow, who is that stunning sim who came into your life like magic? Is it lust, or love? It’s hard to tell, you’ve never felt like this about anyone else before. But there’s something about her that draws you in… You both are a little, let’s say, ‘different’ to everyone else, but that’s what makes things so interesting. The flame burns hot, and you’re not going to let it die out anytime soon.
Requirements:
Live with roommates your whole young adult life
Fall in love with a vampire lady
Befriend a rabbit
Collect all ten wands from the magical artefacts collection
Become a rank four spellcaster
Traits: lovebug, goofball, loyal Aspiration: expert nectar maker Colours: red and white
Generation 3 - After Midnight ‘Cause everything good happens after midnight
Your mum always warned you that your hot-headed nature might land you in some trouble, and that’s not all that leads you that way! You’re always down for a good time, letting loose on the dancefloor and with romantic partners. Life’s more fun when you live each day as it comes, even if that means facing some inconveniences. You’ll find a way to make things work for you, but you just can’t ever seem to escape the drama.
Requirements:
Go out clubbing every weekend
Hook up with both guys and girls you meet at the club
Have at least three fights at the club during your young adult years
Max the romance skill
Woohoo with multiple sims in one night and get pregnant not knowing who the other parent is
Traits: hot-headed, party animal, erratic Aspiration: serial romantic (bonus: drama llama as a teen) Colours: navy blue and black
Generation 4 - Coffee ‘Cause If we do coffee, it’s never just coffee
You’re the opposite of your carefree parent, you must have everything perfect, even if that means losing the one you love the most. Although, you never really seem to be able to let go of them completely. They always find a way back into your life, back into your heart. They’re your one weakness, your only downfall. But how long can you go on living this way, knowing things will never work between you both?
Requirements:
Join the barista career as a teen
Have your first date at the park
Meet your partner’s parents at a fancy restaurant
Have an on-off relationship with the same sim your whole young adult life
Develop the coffee fanatic lifestyle
Traits: romantically reserved, perfectionist, loves outdoors Aspiration: master mixologist Colour: brown and green
Generation 5 - Casual Hate that I let this drag on so long, you can go to hell
You’re a hopeless romantic who can’t see red flags when they’re staring you in the face. Maybe you can change them? After all, their family loves you, and you love them. Your friends try to warn you, but you shrug them off, wanting to see the best in everyone. Will things ever change, or are you permanently blinded by love? If love is really what you can call this situationship…
Requirements:
Fall in love with a noncommittal sim but never become official
Become best friends with their sister
Go on holiday with their family to Sulani
Have public woohoo in five different locations
Have an explosive breakup after getting pregnant and raise the baby alone
Traits: clumsy, generous, foodie Aspiration: romantic explorer Colours: turquoise and baby blue
Generation 6 - Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl We’re leaving the planet and you can’t come
You know what you want, and you won’t let a fugly man hold you back. You’re done giving these guys chances when they can’t give you what you deserve. You have big dreams and you know who will be there to support you, and who won’t. You plan to leave this planet and explore another world without any men to bring you down. And who knows, maybe there will be a cute alien in your future…
Requirements:
Have an awful first date at a bar (bonus if it’s on a friday night with a guy who hates dancing!)
Only date girls after
Travel to Sixam
Host weekly parties
Reach level ten of the style influencer career
Traits: outgoing, high-maintenance, squeamish Aspiration: friend of the world Colours: silver and yellow (or as bright as you can make it!)
Generation 7 - HOT TO GO! Baby, do you like this beat? I made it so you’d sleep with me
You’ve always loved to dance and find it’s the best way to communicate. Who needs words when your body can paint a picture even better? And when you meet a sim who leaves you speechless, surely there’s no better way to confess your love to them than through dancing! But you can’t embarrass yourself, that would ruin every-thing, you need to make sure everything is perfect before you shoot your shot.
Requirements:
Become head cheerleader as a teen at high school
Stay single until you meet your perfect sim at a nightclub
Only develop romance with your soulmate after you’ve maxed the dancing skill
Max the DJ mixing skill
Develop the hungry for love lifestyle
Traits: active, self-assured, creative Aspiration: party animal Colours: yellow and purple
Generation 8 - My Kink Is Karma People say I’m jealous, but my kink is karma
You’re trash, and everyone knows it. But somehow, you managed to land the perfect sim, who sees past all your nastiness throughout high school. This was never going to last though, you love making sims miserable, even if it means you’re never happy yourself. When your ex becomes more successful than you ever will be, you continue to take it out on everyone around you. How long can you live like this? Will you ever redeem yourself?
Requirements:
Have a bad breakup with your high school sweetheart after living together (all red relationship)
Move back in with parents after breakup
Dye your hair at least three times after breakup
Argue with your ex who has become more successful and happy than you
Max the mischief skill
Traits: jealous, mean, self-absorbed Aspiration: villainous valentine Colours: red and orange
Generation 9 - Picture You Do you picture me like I picture you?
With a parent like yours, you’ve never been able to differentiate between what’s right and what’s wrong, everything is sort of… morally grey. So when you find an attractive sim who is way out of your league, you’re too afraid to approach them. Instead, you decide to take pictures of them… without them knowing. It’s not bad if they never find out, right? You still admire and appreciate all your other lovers though, but they’ll never be that sim.
Requirements:
Max the photography and research and debate skills
Enter the freelance fashion photographer career
Decorate your bedroom walls with photos of an attractive sim who you have no romance with
Paint portraits of all romantic interests and never sell or dispose of them
Meet your partners at the library
Traits: nosy, bookworm, socially awkward Aspiration: painter extraordinaire Colours: black and lilac
Generation 10 - Kaleidoscope It’s never just a shape alone, love is a kaleidoscope
Finding love with your childhood best friend was the most incredible thing that could happen to you. They’re your muse, your everything. Until things go wrong. The dynamic between you both shifts and things get awkward. You won’t chase them and make them stay if that’s not what they want. Instead, you reminisce over the years you had together, and you never forget them. You can’t bring yourself to get over your one and only love.

Date your childhood best friend
Write and sell love songs
Break up and lose all contact with your ex
Watch your ex build a new life with a new family
Buy a ranch in Chestnut Ridge and remain a single parent

Generation 11 - Pink Pony Club I’m gonna keep on dancing at the Pink Pony Club
You and your parent are very different, and this makes things hard for you growing up. You don’t connect with the world you grew up in. You dream of escaping the small town and starting fresh in the city. You can be who you want to be, do what you want to do, and make friends with sims who feel the same way. You never forget where you grew up, but it was never home for you. You make a new life for yourself and are so much better for it.
Requirements:
Have a pink horse growing up
Move from Chestnut Ridge to Del Sol Valley when you become a young adult
Have a difficult relationship with your mother
Reach level ten of the entertainer career
Create a club with drag queens and kings
Traits: horse lover, insider, dance machine Aspiration: leader of the pack Colours: baby pink and silver
Generation 12 - Naked In Manhattan Touch me, baby, put your lips on mine, could go to hell, but we’ll probably be fine
Everything changes for you when you find yourself crushing on a cute girl after years of bad relationships with sucky guys. What is this feeling? You can’t explain it, but you’ve never felt this way about anyone before. There’s an undeniable connection between the two of you, and you know you can’t go back to your old ways ever again. But will you and this girl ever be more than just friends?
Requirements:
Have slumber parties every weekend as a teen
Live in San Myshuno your whole young adult life
Have multiple bad relationships with guys
Get juiced and hook-up with a girl before becoming woohoo partners
Never date guys again after your self-discovery
Traits: romantic, cheerful, materialistic Aspiration: city native (bonus: slumber party animal as a child) Colours: turquoise and white
Generation 13 - California Thought I’d be cool in California, I’d make you proud
You have always dreamed of making it big, so you move in with your grandparents who live in Del Sol Valley. But things aren’t easy and you struggle making a name for yourself. You won’t give up straight away, but you can’t help but feel like something is wrong. Growing up in two cities your whole life maybe isn’t right for you. Maybe a new dream in the countryside is all you need.
Requirements:
Move to Del Sol Valley and live with grandparents as a teenager and young adult
Never complete your celebrity aspiration
Join the actor or social media career, but never surpass level six
Move to old family ranch in Chestnut Ridge as an adult and quit your job
Live the rest of your days looking after your ranch
Traits: gloomy, family-oriented, rancher Aspiration: world-famous celebrity, swap to championship rider as an adult Colours: brown and orange
Generation 14 - Guilty Pleasure I want this like a cigarette, can we drag it out and never quit?
You’re the perfect daughter, perfect student, perfect ‘good girl’. But when a not-so-perfect sim catches your eye, you can’t turn away. They challenge everything you think you know and push you to do things you never thought you were capable of. They don’t change you though, and you don’t change them. You find the perfect balance in your relationship and continue to help each other grow, keeping each other on your toes at all times.
Requirements:
Achieve A grades throughout school
Have the stereotypical ‘good girl’ image your whole life
Achieve a pristine reputation
Date someone with different traits, appearance, and lifestyle to you
Earn the opposites attract sentiment with your partner
Traits: adventurous, good, geek Aspiration: inner peace (bonus: goal-oriented as a teen) Colours: navy blue and gold
Generation 15 - Good Luck, Babe! You’d have to stop the world just to stop the feeling
It’s hard when you don’t feel in control of your own feelings. You want to commit to a girl you love, but instead self-sabotage and refuse to admit to how you really feel. KALEIDOSCOPE: A Sims 4 Legacy Challenge
The basic premise of this legacy challenge I created randomly is that each generation is based off of 10 of the EA hair colors & is loosely inspired by the Not So Berry Challenge that everyone has either played, watched someone played or just heard of. That challenge is very old & The Sims 4 has evolved a lot as a game so this is basically an updated version of it but based on the EA hair colors so that it's easier to play with for simmers who don't use cc or who play on console. Also please note that the colors of the font don't always line up as Tumblr only has a few selected colors I can use & I don't know how to get more lol. I hope you all enjoy this challenge & let me know if any parts of the challenge are not working/broken as I will update it then!
This challenge requires:
EP's: Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, High School Years, Growing Together, Horse Ranch, Lovestruck + Life & Death
GP's: Vampires, Realm of Magic, Strangerville

BASIC RULES FOR EVERY GENERATION:
The heir of each generation can be of any gender, sexual orientation, etc. and can date/marry any sim, unless there are specific rules stated regarding this
Unless stated in the rules, where each generation lives, what type of residential lot they live on, what traits the home lot has, how many children an heir has, how many pets an heir has, what other skills they gain/master, whether the heir goes to university or not, etc. are completely up to the player to decide
The traits stated for each generation are the traits the heirs need to have
Cheats are allowed; It is your personal game play so play it how you enjoy!
The recommended lifespan is "Normal" and the next generation shall begin once all requirements of the previous one are completed and the next heir is a Young Adult (the founder must also start as a Young Adult)
Throughout each generation, maintain the ghost of the founder sim (this is important to complete this legacy challenge entirely)
Feel free to change the requirements up if you don't have all required packs or just wanna do something different! I made this based on gameplay mechanics I have and never really use, so that is why there is no For Rent gameplay mechanics as I don't have that pack. But if you do have For Rent & don't have say Lovestruck, you could make Generation Pink based off of For Rent, etc. This is a challenge you can edit & shape to what you have and want to play with!
Generation One: WHITE
Traits: Cat Lover, Romantically Reserved, Socially Awkward
Packs required: Discover University, Cats & Dogs, Lovestruck, High School Years
Become best friends with one sim & struggle to maintain any other friendships (other than cats, family, etc.)
Begin with/adopt 3 cats & always have 3 cats in the household at all times
Reach level 10 of the Robotics & Handiness skills
Reach the top of the Engineer career (Mechanic Engineer branch)
Complete the "Friend of the Animals" aspiration
Become companions with every cat the heir owns
Throughout this generation, the heir must either: never romantically pursue any sims outside of their household or struggle romantically, fueling their passion for creating a Servo-bot
Create a Servo-Bot by the time the heir is an Adult, marry them & have at least one child with them
OPTIONAL: Attend university & major in Physics
OPTIONAL: Complete the feather collection from the Cats & Dogs EP
Generation Two: PINK
Traits: Romantic, Ambitious, Outgoing
Packs required: Lovestruck, Discover University, City Living
Date at least 10 sims throughout the heir's life, with at least 3 relationships concurrently, separately or as a polycule
Reach level 10 of the Romance, Research + Debate & Charisma skills
Reach the top of the Law career (Private Attorney branch)
Complete the "Paragon Partner" & "Romantic Explorer" aspirations
The heir of this generation must marry another sim who does not get jealous by physical intimacy/WooHoo; while married, the heir and their spouse must date and WooHoo sims outside of the relationship (AKA the heir & their spouse must have an open relationship)
Once married, the heir must Try for Baby with their spouse & at least 2 other sims in one day & get pregnant/get others pregnant
Always attend the Romance Festival & get married to spouse there
OPTIONAL: Complete the Messages in Bottles collection from My Wedding Stories GP
Generation Three: RED
Traits: Lazy, Glutton, Geek
Packs required: Snowy Escape, High School Years, Get Famous, City Living
As a Teen, the heir must either graduate high school with a C or D grade OR drop out of high school about 3-5 days before aging up to a Young Adult
As a Young Adult, the heir must join the Salaryperson career and struggle to get promotions
Most of the time instead of going to high school/work, the heir must spend their time at home behind their computer, either playing video games, programming or chatting with others online
Complete the "Computer Whiz" aspiration
Reach level 10 of the Video Gaming & Programming skills
Once the heir reaches level 5 of both Video Gaming & Programming skills, they can quit their job as a Salaryperson and join the Streamer part-time job & rely on their skills to make money
Always attend GeekCon whenever it is in town
Gain at least 2 fame levels from playing video games, making video games, etc.
Meet future partner online & have their relationship remain online until the heir is about to become an Adult, then have them meet up & start a real relationship
OPTIONAL: Complete the MySims collection
Generation Four: ORANGE
Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Good, Outgoing
Packs required: Vampires, Seasons, Get to Work/Businesses & Hobbies
While living with the previous generation, have the heir be turned into a vampire "against their will" & aim to cure the heir
Reach level 10 of the Gardening & Flower Arranging skills, reach level 15 of the Vampire Lore skill (for cure)
Complete the "Good Vampire" & "Freelance Botanist" aspirations
Grow a cowplant (OPTIONAL: If you have Life & Death EP, also have an Undead Cowplant)
Never get the "Sun-Resistance" ability, forcing the heir to either garden at night or indoors only; the heir must get the "Guilty Drinker" & "Thin-skinned" weaknesses
Only drink from plasma packs, Plasma Janes or consenting humans
Own & run a 5 star floral shop (can be either a Retail Store from GTW EP or a Small Business from B&H EP)
Either adopt children or wait to have children until cured
Fall in love with a werewolf sim but wait on marriage until after curing the heir
Cure heir of vampirism
OPTIONAL: Complete the Gardening collection
Generation Five: YELLOW
Traits: Active, Adventurous, Loner
Packs required: Snowy Escape
Live in the Yukimatsu neighborhood in Mt. Komorebi
If born a werewolf, the heir may either stay a werewolf or cure themselves
Reach level 10 of the Fitness & Rock Climbing skills, reach at least level 5 of the Snowboarding & Skiing skills
Reach the top of the Athletic career (Professional Athlete branch)
Complete the "Bodybuilder" & "Extreme Sports" aspirations
Marry another Active or Adventurous non-occult sim
Successfully climb the highest peak of Mt. Komorebi with spouse & anyone else in the household that is able to
Have only one child
OPTIONAL: Have the "Simple Living" from Cottage Living EP lot challenge on the heir's lot & have them only cook/eat "healthy" foods
OPTIONAL: Complete the Simmies collection from Snowy Escape EP
Generation Six: GREEN
Traits: Creative, Maker, Overachiever
Packs required: Eco Lifestyle, High School Years, Realm of Magic
If born a werewolf, you can cheat them being cured (if they are born as a dormant wolf then just never swim in the lake in Moonwood Mill)
Join the Freelancer career as a Crafter
Complete the "Master Maker" aspiration
Create outfits on Trendi as well as other side hustles (some ideas: creating jewelry, cross-stitching, knitting, etc.)
Only sell craftables either on Plopsy or on a selling table
Reach level 10 of Fabrication & max any other skills the heir is pursuing
Post on social media all of the time & gain at least 150k followers (if this number is too difficult you can decrease it)
Before the next heir is a teenager, have this generation live in Evergreen Harbor; once the next heir is a teenager, move to Glimmerbrook
OPTIONAL: Complete the Crystals collection
Generation Seven: TEAL
Traits: Erratic, Kleptomanic, Genius
Packs required: Realm of Magic
As a teen, have the heir venture into the magic realm and befriend a sage, who in return turns the heir into a spellcaster
Reach level 10 of the Mischief & Logic skills
Reach the top of the spellcaster skill tree & learn every spell + potion
Complete the "Spellcraft and Sorcery" & "Purveyor of Potions" aspirations (OPTIONAL: Can also complete the new "Sticky Fingers" aspiration)
Join the Secret Agent or Criminal careers (the heir does not need to reach the top of either career, it is simply so there is a way for the heir to make money)
Marry the sage that turned the heir into a spellcaster & have all children with them (The heir cannot have children with anyone other than the sage; in case that the sage dies before the heir marries them, either bring the sage back to life or befriend & marry the sage's replacement)
OPTIONAL: The heir may become immortal, but it is not required to do so
OPTIONAL: Complete the Magical Artifacts collection from Realm of Magic GP
Generation Eight: BLUE
Traits: Dance Machine, Party Animal, Music Lover
Packs Required: Get Together, High School Years, Discover University, Horse Ranch
If the heir is born as a spellcaster, have them become a human (ignore if the heir is already human)
Move to Britechester and enroll in either university & major in anything (if possible have the heir take an elective class in either the Dance or DJ Mixing skill & have them only do the work for that class)
While at university, the heir must: skip class as much as possible, throw/attend parties almost every night, go to the local bar/club & learn how to DJ while out, miss or cheat on all exams/final projects; ultimately, the heir must be kicked out of school for low grades or drop out on their own
After the heir leaves university, move to Windenberg & live in a shared townhouse in the Olde Platz neighborhood (this can be achieved either through using For Rent's Rental Residentials, Discover University's Roommate system or simply living with the other people in the townhouse)
Complete the "Master Mixologist" aspiration
Join the Culinary career & get to at least the branch selection & choose the Mixology branch but then quit soon after achieving this (this is to complete the required aspiration)
Reach level 10 of the DJ Mixing & Mixology skills, reach level 5 of the Dance skill (OPTIONAL: Reach level 5 of Nectar Making skill)
After leaving the Culinary career, only make money from DJ Mixing & Mixology/bartending (Example: whenever the DJ booth or bars at a community lot are empty, have the heir tend to them & they will receive tips)
If also working on the Nectar Making skill, the heir may also earn money through selling nectar
OPTIONAL: Use LittleMsSam's "LIve In Business" mod to open a bar/night club out of the heir's house OR when the Businesses & Hobbies EP comes out, use the new Small Business system to do this
OPTIONAL: Complete the Experimental Food Prints collection from Dine Out GP
Generation Nine: PURPLE
Traits: Geek, Paranoid, Chased by Death
Packs Required: Strangerville, Life & Death, Get to Work
Build & upgrade a rocket completely & visit Sixam
Reach level 10 of the Rocket Science, Logic & Fitness skills
Reach the top of the Astronaut career (Space Ranger branch) or Scientist career (or both if you want more of a challenge)
Live in Strangerville
Complete the "Strangerville Mystery" aspiration
Be abducted by aliens at least once
Have a child with the Grim Reaper (this will be the next heir) and a child with an alien (either through abduction or WooHoo)
Marry another Paranoid sim
Die by accident after the next heir is either a Child or Teen (this can happen before all requirements are complete, just make the current heir a playable ghost & continue playing until finished; also have the final heir keep the spirit of this generation's heir around)
OPTIONAL: Complete the Space Prints collection
Generation Ten: BLACK
Traits: Macabre, Gloomy, Family-Oriented
Packs required: Life & Death, Growing Together, Paranormal Stuff
Live in a Haunted House Residential in Ravenwood & while living there the heir must: befriend Guidry the Ghost, max the Medium skill & achieve the "Survived 7 nights in a Haunted House" milestone (once all of this is achieved, the heir can "sage" the house & have it be reverted to a normal Residential lot)
Reach level 10 of the Cooking & Gourmet Cooking skills, reach level 5 of the Thanatology & Medium skills
Reach the top of the Reaper career
Complete the "Ghost Historian" aspiration
Grow/gather all of the needed ingredients for ambrosia
Once all requirements for ambrosia are collected, have the final heir bring both the Founding Heir (White Generation) and their deceased parent (Purple Generation's heir) back to life
OPTIONAL: Complete the Tarot Card collection from Life & Death EP
And boom! The Kaleidoscope Legacy Challenge is completed after the Black Generation has completed all of their requirements! LEPacy Challenge ♡
Hi everyone, I know that I said I would refresh my Mitski Legacy Challenge but I got inspired to make my own version of the LEPacy Challenge. If you don't know what this is, it is a legacy challenge where every generation is centered around an expansion pack. This was originally created for The Sims 3 by @simpishly and has been converted to The Sims 4 by the original creator and @anneliesembsims. However, I wanted to make a version of the challenge that is strictly Expansion Packs (with some optional inclusions of other packs).
So, I did. Every generation has 2-5 options of gameplay that come with background stories, goals and requirements. So far it only has 10 generations, which consist of the first 10 Expansion Packs (Get to Work through Snowy Escape). I decided to only do these packs as it creates the perfect number 10 and I do not have the two newest EPs and have not played with Cottage Living yet!
There are also some general rules to the challenge, which are:
No cheats unless the Goals/Requirements say otherwise! (Can use freerealestate for the first home of the first generation but for no generation after)
You must complete every Goal before the next heir is a Young Adult and/or your current heir dies
Can play on any lifespan (normal is recommended)
If the Goals/Requirements do not mention kids, marriage, traits, aspirations, careers, what world to live in etc., that is all up to you
You do not have to follow my background stories and can create your own
The order in which you do the challenge is optional; you can start with Generation 10 and make your ways to Generation 1, mix and match, etc. The whole point is to complete 1 option of each generation, therefore the order does not matter.
Goals/Requirements with options separated by OR simply mean to choose 1 of the options and any that say OPTIONAL are not required and can be added to create more challenge
Anywaysssss... it is way too long for me to type here so I have the Google Doc that I wrote everything on linked in the title and in a link down below. Please tell me if any of the goals/requirements I have created are impossible, incorrect or just extremely difficult to do! Sims 4 Mystical Motherhood: The Occult Baby Challenge
This is a Sims 4 challenge still in the works! I will be adding more rules and conditions as we make our way through the challenge and hopefully by the time it’s over we will have a complete challenge! ;D Thanks for stopping by.

The point of this challenge for me was to see what the game offers with occults! I wanted to see which children got special traits, how they looked when they were born, the probability of the baby being an occult with a human mother, etc. It was a big experiment and I had so much fun with it. Unfortunately, it is close to impossible to do without mods and cheats. I also used a ton of occult cc to make the kids look like they we’re actually occult sims. How you want to play the challenge is up to you! This is just a guide on how I did it!
I had no idea what was to come of this challenge when I started it so I ran into a lot of issues along the way. I had to use a lot of cheats and mods to get around some of the limits in the game. I have included below everything I had to do to get around these issues! I hope it helps.
CHALLENGE OBJECTIVE: Have a baby with each of the occult sims in the game. Keep in mind in order to have certain occult sims you must own the expansion pack for it.
OCCULT SIMS: Vampire, Mermaid, Patchy the Straw Man, Flower Bunny, Alien, Spell Caster, Father Winter, Plant Sim, Island Elemental, Grim Reaper, Tragic Clown, Ghost, Servo Bot, Wishing Well (optional).
RULES: Create a human sim however you want. The only thing that is required is the sim must be able to get pregnant. Move your sim into any house. You may use money cheats if you want. Build a relationship with each occult creature in the game and become pregnant with their child. In order for you to be able to move a child out of the house they must reach level 5 in the skills that are associated with occult.
PACKS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE ENTIRE CHALLENGE: Vampires, Get to Work (aliens), Island Living (mermaids), Seasons (patchy, flower bunny, father winter), Realm of Magic, University (servo), Romantic Garden (for the wishing well), Knifty Knitting (knitting skill), Outdoor Retreat (herbalism skill) City Living (singing skill), Spa Day (wellness skill).

CHEATS NEEDED/HOW TO ACCESS CERTAIN OCCULTS:
Grim Reaper: In order to be able to try for baby with the Grim Reaper you need to first build a relationship with him, add him to your family but SHIFT clicking on Grim and clicking “Add to Family". Then you must remove his reaper trait with the following cheat: traits.clear_traits
After that, you should have no problem trying for baby with Grim! After you become pregnant, you can add his reaper trait back with this cheat: traits.equip_trait GrimReaper
Island Elementals: To access the island elementals, your sim must have the “child of the islands trait”. Once your sim has this trait, you can click on your sim and the option for summoning the island spirits should be available. Click it, and the island elementals will come to your lot. Build relationships with one or all of them. In order to try for baby with the island elementals, they must first be added to your household. There is no way to have a baby while they are still in their ghost form so you must bring them back to life. You can either use the wishing well, ambrosia, or cheat it using mccc. Once they are human again, you can try for baby. The objective here is to have a child that has the ‘Sulani Mana’ trait inherited from the island elementals.
Plant Sim: There are no plant sims walking around the world in the Sims 4, so in order for you to have a baby with one you will have to make it yourself. Choose a sim you would like to make into a plant sim.
Sims can become Plant Sims by eating a Forbidden Fruit, which is obtained by entering the Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree. You collect six magical beans (flirty, confident, sad, uncomfortable, tense, playful and angry) from rare seed packets. You then purchase the magical stump from build/buy mode and place the six magical beans on it. They can then water the stump for it to grow into the “Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree”. You can also skip all of that and purchase the tree from the debug build/buy menu. By entering the tree, Sims can obtain the Forbidden Fruit through answering correctly a short text-based adventure. Once they obtain the fruit, Sims can eat it and become PlantSims or plant it and grow more Forbidden Fruits. Plant Sim lasts for 5 days.
Tragic Clown: Purchase the Tragic Clown painting from build/buy mode. Have your sim view it until the Tragic Clown shows up on your lot.
Wishing Well: You can wish for a child with the wishing well from Romantic Garden Stuff Pack. Make an offering before wishing for a child or you may get a negative outcome!

general rules:
• lifespan should be normal (generation 10 can be long as you're going to college)

• minimal cheats (can use freerealestate for first home, etc.)
• mods that are recommended: Basemental drugs mod (this would be best for generation 4 & maybe generation 2), MCC Command Center (in order to cheat for twins, etc. you need this mod; also good for risky woohoo/unplanned pregnancies), & Wonderful Whims (it's just a nice mod to have as it has an attractiveness system)

adulthood is hard and being a struggling artist doesn't make it any easier. due to a lack of money, you decide to move back in with your parents. what's so wrong with living with your parents? but, your dependence on your parents has made you completely stop performing or working hard enough for a promotion. is this really helping? or is this just making things worse?

live with your parents (keep them alive for a while so this is possible)
neglect your skills / career while living there; party, dance & go out instead

financial struggles as a child instilled the thought that you needed to marry a rich person in order to be successful. money isn't just easily handed out, and in order to not be the poor person you always were, you decided to marry a rich detective. however, no one tells you the truth about who they really are, and your partner is no exception to that.

traits - materialistic, good, family-oriented
as a young adult, marry a rich sim whose career is the detective career (sim should have hot-headed and/or mean trait)
have as many children as possible
argue / fight with partner multiple times a week (have negative relationship with them)
meet another sim (who is also good like you) and emotionally cheat on your partner with them
be a stay-at-home mom/dad (can do freelancer careers or odd jobs)
end up leaving your partner for the good sim & take a good amount of their money with you

seeing your family be torn apart as a child made you crave the intimacy your parents never had. what was it like to be loved? to be held? to be cherished? you want to know, but before you do know you go through similar things; drinking, messiness, heartbreak. you fill the void with party-filled nights just to go home and feel even more empty than before. you're missing something... but you just don't know what it is quite yet.

because your parents were older when they had you, you didn't really have a connection with them. but you did have a connection with the dog you begged to get for your birthday. dogs became a huge part of your life, you even wanted to own a veterinary clinic so you could be surrounded by them for forever. so, that's exactly what you'll do.

traits - creative, art lover, & ambitious
paint and/or knit whenever you can (list on plopsy instead of selling directly)
get promotions slowly (don't get promoted right away)
be in the business or salary person career
in hopes of getting a promotion, romance your "boss" (while there isn't a determined boss in any job, have a sim that is level 10 of the career you're in and pretend they're the boss) and accidentally get pregnant with twins (cheat this!)
master the painting & knitting skills
fall in love with a sim in the painting career, and have them help you get the courage to leave your job
once you quit your job, stay unemployed (pretend that you have to apply to jobs and you're having issues getting any offers) until finally you get your dream job as a style influencer
get married as an adult & have one more child with partner
generation 7 - brand new city

Family Dynamics Challenge 2.0
Henlooo, so the family dynamics challenge is originally by Pastellapixels and standingsimmer and all the credit goes to them! However I just changed it here and there because it's been so long since the challenge was updated and there are a few new additions to the game, career and aspiration wise. if you guys have any suggestions, or if you wanna correct me on some stuff please do let me know!
General Rules
Begin with a single sim
No cheats or mods that serve to enhance gameplay over other simmers (MC Command Center is permitted for baby gender/number control and risky woohoo only)
May use “freerealestate on” when starting the first generation ONLY
Custom saves are allowed, and encouraged, to add an infusion of new gameplay opportunities
Each career and aspiration must be completed unless expressly stated otherwise (if a career branch is not specified, then the choice is completely up to you!)
Have fun! Don’t let the rules of this challenge confine you and inhibit your creativity. Unless the rules explicitly direct you, we encourage you to make the gameplay your own
Generation One: “White picket fence”
From the time that you strike out on your own as a young adult, you dream of cultivating loving familial relationships as rich and unique as the dishes you love to create. You marry younger than some of your friends, raise a bundle of children, and enjoy gardening and entertaining in your spare time. Yet, you still devote a portion of your life to your hidden dream of becoming a master chef.
Traits: Outgoing, Foodie, Family-Oriented
Aspiration: Successful Lineage
Career: Culinary (Master Chef branch)*
Rules:
Complete at least five (5) gold-level dinner parties
Master cooking skill and gourmet cooking skill
Marry as a YA and stay happily married until “death do us part”
Have 3-4 children
Maintain a garden and take up canning as a hobby
Simple living should always be on
Complete at least ¾ levels of aspiration
*Upon completing level 5 of the Culinary career, you may also choose to leave the career and open a restaurant instead. (optional because we know that Dine Out suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks)
Generation Two: “Why ever leave?”
You were raised to believe that “home is where the heart is.” And because of this, you rarely venture into the outside world unless given a really good reason to do so. You choose not to leave your parents’ home to pursue your own path at the same time that a lot of others do. Video games and programming became your passion while holed up in your basement bedroom, and thankfully your career of choice doesn’t require a lot of socialization. Leftover pizza, anyone?
Traits: Lazy, Slob, Geek
Aspiration: Computer Whiz
Career: Tech Guru (eSport Gamer branch)
Rules:
Win a GeekCon competition while cosplaying
Master programming and video gaming skills
Play the guitar as a hobby (no skill requirement)
Order a pizza delivery or something on Zoomers every night of the week
Never move out of childhood home until parents have died
Generation Three: “Top of the World”
Being raised by a parent with an affinity for keeping close to home never quelled your sense of adventure and love for the outdoors when growing up. After a trip to Komorebi with a few friends during your highschool you find that there is more to the world other than your hometown and there’s more people to meet along the way. Being made a single parent at a young age only helped to build the desire within you to remain free of the clutches of a conventional job or relationship. And so, you devote your heart to reaching the peak of Komorebi and sharing to the world your process of getting there.
Traits: Cheerful, Unflirty, Adventurous
Aspiration: Extreme Sports Enthusiast
Career: Self-employed (Vlogger, with Get famous use the drone to create videos and upload them through the video station)
Rules:
Have a two-night stay at a rental in Mt. Komorebi as a teen with friends and explore the town
Become a single parent as a young adult
Master rock climbing and snowboarding skills (snowboarding is optional)
Totally optional but you can compete the simmies collection
Reach the peak of Mt. Komorebi
Get the Adrenaline seeker lifestyle
Generation Four: “Work away the pain”
Let’s be honest: you had a pretty good upbringing. Even though there were some rough patches, you know that your parent did the best they could to raise you alone. But, deep down, being alone is the very thing you fear more than anything. So, you cover it up with work. You work 10x harder than anyone else in your family probably. But deep down you still crave stability and so as a desperate attempt to fill the emptiness that drives you, you marry a close friend only to find later that your spouse hasn’t been faithful. Eventually, you break down and take things lightly with the help of your family. They teach you how to have a healthier outlet for your frustrations. Who knew flower arranging was so relaxing?
Traits: Insider, Romantic, Perfectionist
Aspiration: Academic
Career: Lawyer (Private Attorney branch)
Rules:
Master Research and Debate Skill and Charisma Skill
Earn a degree of Language and Literature from Britechester University (you can stop aging while in University)
Reach level 5 of the flower arranging skill, start when you’re an adult
Marry first GF/BF as a YA
Turn blind eye to spouse’s cheating
Eventually divorce spouse; never remarry
Get the workaholic lifestyle and try to lose it later in life
Generation Five: “Struggling in Los Simgeles”
You come from a broken home. Growing up, you witnessed first-hand the havoc that infidelity can bring on a family. You determine from a young age that you will pour your soul into forging close relationships with your spouse and children. The city draws you, and it is there that you decide to make your home. However, despite your best efforts as an actress later in life, tragedy claims one of your children long before their time. You wear a shroud of sadness from then on, but find that the love of your remaining child(ren) and your ability to immerse yourself into your roles might just pull you through in the end.
Traits: Gloomy, High maintenance, Vegetarian
Aspiration: Super Parent
Career: Actress
Rules:
Master acting skills
Reach level 10 acting career
Live in an apartment from YA
Have twins
Get nominated for your works (I would add winning just as an option here because we know the game is kinda dumb)
Lose one child to death
Visit child’s grave at least once per week; leave their bedroom untouched
Generation Six: “Living with a broken heart”
You lost a sibling at a very young age and witnessed your parents’ grief while still trying to process it yourself. Rather than trying to pick up the pieces, you let the sadness consume you. And at the same time you have this whole 'This bloodline ends with me' thing going on because of what you've went through. At first you have been recruited to become a secret agent, but after finding out how corrupt the system is, you decide to screw it because if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em! Am I right? Theft and criminal activity become appealing to you, and eventually you give yourself over to that lifestyle. Even though you’re more at home in your contemplative solitude, you take comfort with a woohoo buddy who eventually gets you pregnant/or you get pregnant. So now you're wanted criminal caring for a child that you have no idea how to take care of. But there’s a surprising side to you; the raging in your heart is only calmed by the time you spend painting.
Traits: Kleptomaniac, Loner, Genius
Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire
Career: Secret Agent (Villain)
Rules:
Run away from home as a soon as you become a teen & never speak to parents again
Do not “inherit” any money from parents
Paint as a coping method
Develop mischief and logic skills

Pull a heist: Steal at least 10 items over the course of the generation
Have a woohoo buddy that results in pregnancy
Completing your aspiration is not necessary
Generation Seven: “Here to make a difference”
There is only one word to describe your childhood: lonely. You knew from a young age that the parent you lived with took no pleasure in your company, and you’ve always felt that you were the “mistake” that resulted from a careless decision. As a result, you pour effort into building relationships with those who truly care about you, and even attempt to mend relationships with those who don’t. You have a core group of people who mean the world to you, and you spend as much time with them as you can. Becoming a teacher was an obvious choice, as it provides you with the tools you need to reach others. And while you’re a social creature by nature, you never turn down the opportunity to curl up with a good book.
Traits: Good, Geek, Bookworm
Aspiration: Friend of the World
Career: Teacher (Professor branch)
Rules:
Attempt to mend relationships with estranged grandparents and parent
Maintain a club of “besties” from YA onwards
Have a movie night with club once per week

Generation Eight: “Archaeology is my passion”
Growing up, you were constantly surrounded by family and close friends who loved you. But you desire more than just the daily interaction with your family. Exploring the jungle is your passion and so is digging up old relics. You eventually create a store where you sell the things you have collected from your journey. Even though starting up your own business means you have to live with your parents longer than most of your friends, you don’t mind because it means you’re close to the people you love. In fact, closeness and similar interests cause you to fall in love with someone who accompanies you during your trips to Selvadorada, and they don’t mind that you can’t yet afford a place of your own. In your “spare time” (hah!), you enjoy photographing places near and far, searching for that perfect shot. Between trying to run a successful shop and your photography hobby, you’re not able to spend as much time with your children as you like. But that’s okay; you’re out there living your dreams.
Traits: Cheerful, Self-Assured, Cat Lover OR Dog Lover (player chooses)
Aspiration: Archaeology Scholar
Career: Self-Employed (runs a store)
Rules:
Live with parents until they die while trying to get retail store off the ground
Have a child as a YA with a Selvadoradian local
Marry the father/mother of their child once parents die
Master archaeology skill, and photography skills
Must take at least one photo in every world
Generation Nine: “Business-minded and musically-inclined”
Your parents worked hard for every penny that they earned, but you were just left feeling like they didn’t care about you as much as the expensive relics in their shop. Your grandparents are your closest friends while they’re still alive. After all, they practically raised you. As a young adult, you desire the family you feel you never had and start a family quickly…only to find out that you’re married to someone you don’t love as much as you should. You have a “responsible” 9-5 interior decorator job, but you also possess real musical talent. Even though you would never consider leaving your job, investing in your music is something you do quite regularly. You eventually remarry after finding real love, and enjoy the rest of your life mediating a mixed family. Will you find true happiness amidst the wealth and your demanding job?
Traits: Creative, Ambitious, Clumsy
Aspiration: Musical Genius
Career: Interior Designer
Rules:
Become good friends with one or both grandparents
Marry and have at least one child; divorce spouse
Later remarry and have at least one child (think “Yours, Mine & Ours”)
Master violin and piano skills
Achieve level 5 of either the singing or guitar skill
Hire and keep a butler
Eat out at a restaurant at least once per week
Generation Ten: “To the stars”
Objectively speaking, your life is great. You never really wanted for anything as a child. The overactive imagination that you possess lends itself perfectly to your love of space. You create a group with people who love the same things as you. The stars fascinates you, but more than anything you desire to find true love. So you find one in your club. You and your significant other would do anything just to discover the worlds unknown to simkind. It was your dream together. But when your significant other suddenly dies while tweaking with the rocket ship when you were young adults, you were devastated. You couldn't finish the rocket ship that you and your loved one had started. As you mourn, drinking becomes your method to quiet a broken heart and provide a false sense of peace. But at a time when your hope begins to lag, your decision to adopt a child despite your own childlessness is the final push you need to persevere. You eventually create the rocket ship and go to Sixam, bringing the love of your life's urn and placing it there as their final resting place. You go back to earth, and live the rest of your life in peace as you have succeeded in creating your own bittersweet ending following a long line of sims with odd stories: some happy, and some not.

Career: Astronaut
Rules:
Master rocket science, handiness and logic skill
Find true love at a young age, significant other dies through electrocution
Successfully travel to Sixam and place the urn your beloved there

heavily inspired by melanie martinez songs coupled with some of my favorite colors, this is kind of like a berry challenge. but like melanie, we are wielding dual colors. each gen has two colors that will bleed into the next. you can utilize dual colors in multitudes of ways. you can create berry sims or normal sims, color coordinate their clothes and makeup, change up their hair colors. doesn’t matter as long as you use the two colors given to signal each generation.
