This was a unique branding exercise in which we had the opportunity to work with our friends at Travel Channel to expand upon their identity– primarily to help figure out a shape to contain the logotype and become the basis for a more memorable graphics system. After exploring hundreds of designs, we focused in on the modified arrow, which happens to pair perfectly with the tagline “Travel moves you”. Although the process started in a flat color world, we eventually settled on a graphic 3d approach to signify a bigger change and create more richness. The result is a crisp, colorful, concise package that creates an ownable space across platforms for Travel Channel to live.
