Congratulations to Raisa Fariha Shamma, a promising young student from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Daffodil International University, who has been awarded the prestigious Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) that will allow her to participate in a one-semester exchange program at Chungum National University (CNU) in South Korea during the Spring of 2023. The scholarship is covering her academics, airfare, accommodation and meal costs. Upon successfully completing her studies in South Korea, Raisa will receive a certificate and transcript, and her credits will be transferred to DIU. Maruf Hassan, Associate Professor, Dept. of Software Engineering of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh and Director of Cyber Security Centre, DIU received prestigious fully funded Erasmus+ Staff Exchange Scholarship from European Union to visit Staffordshire University in UK for his professional growth and academic exposure as well as research engagement from 25th to 29th July, 2022. 🤝Department Textile Engineering of Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with School of Fashion at Wuhan Textile University (WTU), China on 4th July, 2022 in a virtual signing ceremony conducted jointly from DIU in Bangladesh and WTU in China. 🤝Professor Dr. Tao Hui, Dean, School of Fashion, WTU and Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, DIU signed MoA on behalf of respective sides. 🤝Under this agreement, both the universities will undertake exchange of students and faculties, conduct joint research, hold international conferences etc. from now on. The distinguished participants also discussed the priority agenda for successful implementation of the agreement in the coming semesters. 💢Senior Professors from WTU and Md.
