#warrior cats#whistlebreeze#featherpelt#windclan#medicine cat#warrior#you will be amazed to discover that I also kinda want Feather and Oat to not be the best parents#just like with Apple and Flutter I want to explore more stuff with these family dynamics#Oat has some of the same pitfalls as Flutter (that's where Flutter gets it from </3) and is materially a wonderful dad but not really#in touch with the emotional needs#whereas Feather just isn't really made for kids. She's too withdrawn and busy (she's a rising star in WindClan following her mom's#pawsteps to try and become deputy possibly)#so she just doesn't really have the patience to deal with the kids all the time. Oatclaw was also the one to stay in the nursery as soon#as that was a possibility. Feather does love her children but when she's in camp she's usually too tired to take care of them#and she doesn't know how to best raise them either (not like Sedge and Sun were a lot better lmao)#(yeah this is just a whole family is mildly neglectful parents lmao. This has no relation to real life I prommy)#so yeah. the kids grew up without emotional support and that leads to Flutter doing the same#(and before you ask: Heather and Breeze are barely better and I have a whole thing prepared for them so watch out)
