Not to be controversial but I think that Raichi is one of the few characters that genuinely deserved to go to Koshien.

Thinking about how Raichi is so talented and amazing that he taught Sanada how to love and be passionate about baseball while also reigniting Amahisa's love and passion for baseball and inspiring countless pitchers to get better so they can beat him and shocking the baseball community with his talent and leaving fans of the sport in awe of how amazing he is all the while proving his mother wrong, that baseball has value and making his father so, so proud of him.

He's so good. Raichi is actually underrated I love him so much.

My favorite thing about the Yakushi chapter in Daiya no C is when the cat goes and cuddles with Raichi which is cute as shit but! But!

It is important to note! That the cat walks off and THEN cuddles with Raichi,

Which means that Raichi was curled up in a ball, sleeping on the ground when the cat came over to him.

LIKE A BABY.

My favorite thing about Raichi being pressured on the mound is that he lacks the self awareness to realize that's exactly how he makes pitchers feel! Batters like you make the mound a scary place Raichi!
