A early morning Update

First things first, cast update:

Osprey'paw might be my new favorite cat btw. I felt so terrible for her, I mean...

and after what happened to her brother Little'goose??? I think she has an increased chance of dying on a patrol. She has a permanent condition, a wobblily leg I made her a medicine cat apprentice at some point. I also updated the clan tree!

I broke up Ember'hearth and Flutter'spots because their romantic like had actually gone down, witch hurt becuase they were the foster dads of the family--taking in the abandoned kits and forming bonds with others. I guess sometimes life drives cats apart. I'd like to think it's becuase Goose'paw's death took a toll on their relationship. Speaking of Ember'hearth

Our lovely deputy. I set Bayou'holly as the new mate because Bayou had a developing crush on him. Maybe they'll work out. Here are my very dramatic notes on Ember'hearth--I wrote a lot of this last night lol When Little'goose died, he was the obvious choice, and he knew it. A great sport, funny and cheerful, exelling in battlewhat more could the clan need? Even so, he felt his heart sink when his name was called. He missed Little'goose, for one, and for two, he wanted peace. Everyones eyes are on Machine'gun to see if they'll drop too, Ember doesn't know what worth his prayers have anymore. He won't let his clan, though. Never. he'd pull his clanmates through this. He got one of his wishes though, kits. So many kits, so, so many. More than he could possibly be ready for, five little mouths to feed. All his and Flutter'spot's. Flutter promises to be by his side, but the path before him is daunting. So much responsibility the tom was not prepared for. Ember and Flutter'spots were mates for a good long while, and he wasn't quite sure if it was his responsibilities that drove them apart or the fact at some point kits became the sole CenterPoint of their relationship. He's not too sure what he thinks of the cat anymore.

A very solemn update.

We lost Machine'gun. My heart BROKE. So I dedicate the first part of this update to them.

This is what I had in their notes:

This cat was oh so lovingly named and gender'd by my good freind bug, and as a result, is a little bit of a joke. Despite being a bit of a joke, and being named MACHINE'GUN, this kit decided to become a medcat becuase they couldn't stand the thought of hurting another cat. They shortly mated up with Little'goose, who was the deputy at the time, mostly to have kittens, as the clan was desperately in need of them. Unfortanately, both cats were posioned and Little'goose didn't make it. Machine'gun is probably conflicted on how they actually feel about that. When Machine'gun died, it was so, so sudden. Seemingly without any warning at all. Redcaugh hit them like a bullet, ironically. They were so close to so many cats, and now their gone. Rest in peace.

They were Little'Goose's mate too, it really, really is tragic. Half the clan had a whole lot of love for this cat, and they just surprised me so much I'm genuinely heartbroken this happened.

But thats not all.

Goose'paw went with a (LARGE) patrol and met their fate. The thing about Goose'paw was I named Goose'paw after Little'goose, and they developed asthma at a very young age. I think maybe that's why Goose fell behind.

The caption "Wants to be a warrior already!" really hurts. He deserved so much better.

Named in honor of little'Goose, his father's best freind, cats were devestated when they heard of Goose'kit's unfortanate disposition. Never will he be equal to any of his many siblings, all becuase of some stupid snore. He could feel the hurtful pressure on his chest and the shallow and pitying glances from his clanmates since day one. baring the suffix of a dead cat doesn't exactly help either. They could barely keep up on patrols, and when the coyote came for him and his siblings, he couldn't find the breath to scramble fast enough. He really did try their best despite their limitations, and it feels harsh hard and cold that that it never added up to anything.

Is it weird that everyone Little'Goose was connected with is dying...? Ember'hearth and Flutter'spots really are the clan parents, they took in 3 more abandoned kits. Of course, this will never fill the hole that Goose'paw left, but they're something.

They're quite cute too.

Goose's siblings are still alive and well. Thats all for now I suppose... r.i.p all my favorite cats :(

Update 2

ok, here we go. Machine'gun miraculously survives their brush with death, and we are given kits. And what looks like lots of them. We really, really needed kits, but--

THATS A LOT OF BABIES!!! Ember'hearth is also our deputy, the poor guy. I'll make him a post in the future, I have quite the notes on him.

He and his husband gave us these bundles of joy anyway. Many of these babies have since been renamed. ONTOP of these furballs, we were brought the delightful orphans Breeze and Bough - kit.

so we literally have a kit for every adult in the clan. SHEESH. I'll update the family tree once I hit 30 moons, but what a doozy that will be. It noted Ember'hearth was feeling like he wasn't ready for all these children, and yea, me neither. They'll be apprentices soon enough, and I'm glad they'll breathe life back into this clan's dwindling numbers, but jeez.

SO.

Sharp'clan is going...well its going. Machine'kit decided to be a medcine cat.

Not exactly blowing my mind, except for the fact that cat was names and gendered by my good friend Bug, who said the cat's warrior name should be Machine'gun and their gender should be uhm... " attack helicopter ". so this kitty was a joke from the get-go. But Machine'gun defied their titles entirely and choose peace, good for them.

So heres one of our now three medcats, being a rouge reccently joined the clan named "flutterspots" -- that's just, such a pretty name. I thought Machine'gun's pelt was beyond pretty, so I grouped them up with Little'goose (our deputy) in hopes of kits, but Little'goose was poisoned and died the next moon.

Actually, Machine'gun was poisoned too, and I'm surprised their still alive. But they're still kicking. Good for them, I guess. We need a new deputy. Fun fact, all my trans cats are decidedly trans because my friend bug (yes, the one who decided on "Machine'gun") chants "be transgender! BE TRANSGENDER!" whenever I talk to long about a specific cat.

The beginnings of a Clan

I want to make a little bit of a "Starting post" before I do anything, so, meet our cast!

I named a lot of these cats after shows / games / media I like, I'm making an effort this playthrough to name more cats and give more attention to quote-un-quote background characters.

I'll post more about these characters when they actually get interesting.

Welcome To Sharp'clan

_ > Ever so lovingly named after the clan I would roleplay as at recess in the 5th grade, this account surrounds my third ever Clan generator (development ver.) clan and their little adventures, because I'm finding myself engrossed in these kitties and their stories. Writing their histories and getting extremally attached, so as I do when I get a new hyper fixation, I'm making a tumblr blog. I'll post frequent updates on the well - being of the clan, different characters and notes on them as I go along, and of course little dramatic stories about life in the clan. This is just a little "pin-post" going over wtf this account is, and with a few links so I can stay organized.

Anyway, you can call me, the uh, " Sharpclan OP " , Moth or Dispar. I use it/its pronouns.
