Dana had earlier convinced her dad to allow her to go visit Terry. She'd been wanting to for quite some time and was really worried about him. Her father didn't like Terry much, but eventually he gave into her request.
So here she was, making her way towards Terry's room, silently worrying about what kind of condition he might be in. Dana opened the door to his room once she was sure it was the one that the nurse had said it was and entered the room.
Once she saw him she was both partly still worried and partly relieved because she had pictured him in a much worse state.
Looking Ahead
It had been six days since he’d woken up. The doctors had finally let him hobble around the halls as best he could, but generally wanted him to keep off his feet. The cuts on his cheek had stopped bleeding enough to soak through a bandage in a matter of hours, and it was getting easier to breathe. They talked about releasing him soon.
He was glad. He hadn’t wanted visitors, but so many people had wanted to visit. He’d pretended to be asleep when most of them stopped by.
But there was one person who he’d hoped would visit.
One person that he had a very important question for.
