The reunion between friends is held at Scrooge McDuck's house. Max Goof doesn't want to waste his Spring Break on a cantankerous miser and his mischievous nephews, but being an eleven year old kid, he doesn't have a say in this.

Happy 30th anniversary of Goof Troop! Happy 30th birthday of Max Goof!

Even though I'm late, I'm definitely posting this since this year is the anniversary of one of my favorite Disney series. On September 5, 1992, one of the Disney Afternoon series called Goof Troop, created by creators Robert Taylor and Michael Peraza Jr., aired. Yes, it's about the life of Goofy and his neighbor Peg Leg Pete with their families. Goofy has a son Max, while Pete has his wife Peg, his son Pete Junior or P.J. for short. and of course daughter Pistol. Yes, Pete has a pet dog Chainsaw and Goofy has a cat Waffles. Of course, there are other characters that appear from Goofy's family such as Goofy's niece Debbie and others. Yes, other characters appear, but I wouldn't care for all of them, so I apologize for this.

Additionally, Goofy's son Max Goof appears as a different version of Goofy Junior. Although his official birthday is on October 21st, it was definitely September 5th when Max took shape as we know him, and after that series he would go on to star in two Goofy movies as well as two Christmas specials and House of Mouse.

I’m not sure if Max’s birthday is September 5th (when he appeared in Goof Troop) or his birthday is October 21st (when he appeared as Goofy Junior in Goofy’s classic short “Fathers Are People”), as well as doubt whether Goofy Junior and Max Goof the same person. All in all, October 21 will certainly be a celebration of his or their birthday. It looks like Max as well as Donald (who celebrates both March 13 and June 9) and Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck (who celebrate both April 15 and October 17) have two birthdays, September 5 and October 21. Anyway, to me Max Goof (Goofy’s son) is one of my favorite Disney characters so I wish him a happy birthday and to me Max was great at Goof Troop, along with his father. This means not only for Max in Goof Troop, but also for other versions of Max Goof (Goofy Movie, A Extremely Goofy Movie, House of Mouse, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas, Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas) where Max played a major role in other movies and series. Although for me the best is Max in Goof Troop, but let everyone decide who is the best version of Max Goof for someone. Happy birthday, Maxie, once again!

In Goof Troop it's Max and Goofy who have fair skin while Pete and PJ have darker skin, sometimes we see them in human bodies, Goofy and Max appear white while PJ and Pete's skin tone is darker, they could pass for Latino. Powerline is clearly designed to be black.

Okay, my fellow Goofheads. So Goofy and Max are black. This is the modern cultural consensus. So I have a question. Are Pete and PJ, as cats, white?

It is believable 'cause they look like themselves in the movie! You did a fantastic job! I love the detail of them sitting on a skateboard and Bradley holding Max's head.

Goof Troop Episode: Big City Blues (The subway trolly heads straight for Max, who freezes, and PJ jumps to push him out of harm's way)

 

Goof Troop Episode: Where There's Smoke, There's Goof: (Max freezes again and PJ saves him)

Goof Troop Episode: Talen to the Max (Max gets controlled by a magic hat, PJ attempts to save him plenty of times until he gives Max the secret to how to get rid of the hat.)

Goof Troop Episode: Maximum Insecurity (As Leech threatens to hurt Max for causing the stolen perfume to break, PJ steps between them hiding Max from Leech.)

There was also the episode when Max used to get bullied by Tooth, but I forgot its name.

Max freezing in the face of danger should be used in fanfic more as it's a canon trait, I think I've used it in my Maxley fics and the crossover with Ducktails.

Was reading your post on Maxleys' age gap and just wanted to mention that Bradley says the Gammas are 5 time champions who have won since the beginning, so it's possible that he himself has not won all 5 times but takes pride in the groups accomplishment.

Also, the X-Games have Summer and Winter events, so 5 times means 2 and a half years, assuming they participate in both events, which could put him around 20/21 years old.

Just some things to think about, their ages can be whatever you like really, Bradley could have started college earlier than typical due to his skills and privileges

But i agree Tankley is under appreciated, I love that ship and their dynamic.

Yeah I think I got a little confused. I saw something saying he was 24 but than another said 21?? So I’m kinda like what.. So he’s generally older than max in this sense than. Maybe 22? Still i like max and Bradley becoming mutual friends and still bickering and picking on eachother just not as extreme kinda thing. Maybe they end up getting along eventually after the x games idk. I’m very new to the fandom, literally I joined last week-

It was risky of me to post about not being a max/ley fan ngl especially on tumblr lmao. But I love tank and Bradley so much more and bobby max than max and Bradley as a personal preference, I don’t mind the ship it doesn’t upset me or bother me just not my cup of tea essentially lol.

Just confusing when ages aren’t confirmed I guess? One says one thing another says another thing and it jumbles up

Siberia Chapter 13 : Fix You

This chapter, told from Bradley's perspective, plunges into his desperate attempts to help Max heal from the abuse he inflicted. He goes to extreme lengths, even lying to a psychology professor and a psychiatrist about being the victim himself. However, the ultimate solution for Max's recovery delivers a shattering blow to Bradley, demanding a sacrifice he's deeply unwilling to make.

I don't think I've ever seen Mona in art or fanfic. I'm glad to see her drawn here. I think my fic, while Maxley, is the only one the features Mona and in a sympathatic role.

Changed my fic's name to "The Art of Befriending a Snob" because little Bradley is such a snob :)

I wish I can draw, I'd love the fic to have its own poster, 13 year old Bradley as the oldest and tallest, then 11 year old PJ in his Goof Troop design, then 11 year old Max who is the shortest boy in his Goof Troop desgin, then 4 year old Pistol the youngest and shortest standing in Mrs. Willoughby's flower garden with Goofy in his gardener clothes. Ah.

Don't mind me just rambling, I think it be cute if after Peg divorces Pete, her and Goofy start bonding and get together.

And Peg realizing she used to have a crush on Goofy she buried years back. (Seeing him happy with his girlfriend, I have entire lore for goofy's wife but it might be too long-)

This needs to be a fanfic! I already have three WIPs but I would love to write it, though it'll be interesting to see how Pete reacts to this or if Goofy would agree to marry her seeing as much he actually loves Pete.
