Finally, what most of you were probably waiting for: The ToBecky Dynamic change in the 2P AU (and frankly, the one aspect of this AU that I constantly think about because it’s just so fun)

As shown in Theodore’s character sheet, he’s afraid of WordGirl and has no romantic interest in her compared to the Original Series version. This also means that his relationship with Becky has changed as well. Tobey, although wanting to befriend Becky, knows she’s not a good person and that she is most definitely WordGirl. But even with that in mind, he doesn’t want to treat her any differently and hopes that his theory is miraculously proven wrong (even though we all know that it’s true).

On the other hand, WordGirl has… strong feelings for him. Not that she would ever admit to it. Because why would she? That would be seen as weakness. It’s not like she understands how she feels anyways. Emotions are difficult. That doesn’t stop her from giving him special treatment, however, as it’s very clear she doesn’t care in the slightest if she hurts a villain or enemy but won’t lay a single hand on Theodore.

Becky was adopted by Steven and not the botsford's. She became word girl at 7 the accident that created Dr. Two-Brains happened when she was 8 at the time of most of this au she's 10-12. Following the accident and Steven turning to a life of crime, Becky became something of an outcast from the other kids at her school, fearing her because of her father. The only friends and simulance of a family she has is the villains of the association. 

As wordgirl she finds it hard to fight the villains with the same bravado as she did before the accident. She of course still fights but often she's more lenient. When questioned she simply states “Just because they're a villain doesn't mean they're not human and I as a hero refuse to hurt anyone” she also refuses to fight Dr. Two-brains she only ever captures him before the start of a crime to avoid his arrest. She refuses to comment on this flying off and avoids the question when asked. 

Familial ties and relationships; (No blood relation but the family terms stick.) 

Dr 2 brains- Becky's father, supervillain

Beatrice (lady redundant woman)- Becky's aunt

leslie- Becky's aunt (Beatrice's girlfriend) 

Mrs. Question- Family friend  (older single child free aunt vibes) 

Granny may- Becky's grandma (duh)

Chuck- Becky's cousin

Amazing rope guy- Family acquaintance

The butcher- Becky's uncle

Mr. Big- Child free family friend ( often gets stuck babysitting as punishment for breaking association rules) 

Whammer: Cousin. (Whammers non binary in this au) 

Other villainous kids:

Birthday girl/Eileen- Little sister

Veronica- Rival/enemy (also considers Eileen like a lil sister but hates Becky)
