Pregnant and FABULOUS

There is absolutely no reason that a woman should loose her sexy just because she's pregnant.  I mean i thank JT for bringing sexy back but seriously though? just because you're pregnant doesn't mean it should've left.

When you sit down and really think about it being pregnant brings this glow to a woman's face that is sexy on it's own and forget about that whole eating for two saying, you can eat healthy and stay sexy for 9 months.

Mckenzie Renae…

Even as a fashion blogger it is extremely rare that I come across someone who embodies everything I love and I must say ever since i came across Ms. Mckenzie Renae's blog I've ben nothing less of beyond impressed.

This woman is a fierce, stylish, blonde blogger in Atlanta who can rock anything she wears, from a cut off band tee and a pencils skirt to a gold metallic dress with a dangerously plunging neckline, every time I lo onto Instagram I am left utterly speechless and inspired.  

I cam across Mckenzie's blog months ago and it wasn't her fashion that first caught my eye.  As many know i decided to big chop and go natural almost 2 years ago and a little less than a year ago went blonde, well this stylish sistah is not only blonde but she's natural as well! 

It's not everyday that someone catches my eye and keep my interest in terms of fashion, personal style and the vibe they possess.  Mckenzie Renae is definitely a fashion inspiration and a woman who's closet I would love to raid.  Hopefully in a few months when I take my big move to Atlanta  a lunch/shopping trip will take place!!

Over the years we've seen countless people attend the Music Festival know as Coachella but I must state the obvious, Coachella is much more than music, it's a fashion wonderland. Not only is Coachella where you can find all the models running around in their fashionable frocks but this is where all the celebrities can be seems howling off their personal style. 

Some celebrities that can be seen flaunting their style on the Coachella playground include the Queen of Coachella Vanessa Hudgens, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Chanel Iman, Beyonce and more! No matter who you are when at Coachella your inner flower child is released!

10 Ways to Live a Happy and Healthy Life

As Spring/Summer roll back around i find it very fitting to post my !o ways again. I swear by them

1. WHEN YOU LOOK GOOD, YOU FEEL GOOD

Often when I feel down I make it a point to put a lot into my appearance that day. When I do my hair and make up and put on a nice outfit I look in the mirror and I look good therefore I feel good. 

2. LET GO

You can't control everything, lear to let go and just live!

3. LIVE LIFE

You can't take everything to serious when you're older you want to look back on life and think to yourself how much you enjoyed it. 

4. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE DOING GREAT THINGS

I hate the phrase "birds of a feather flock together" because I don't fully believe in it and frankly i think it can be complete bullshit.  I enjoy having an eclectic group of friends who are different from me and can show me different things.  However all of those people no matter how different from you should all be positive people who are doing or aspiring to do great things in life and inspire you to do the same. 

5.MAKE DECISIONS FOR YOURSELF

I understand you always want to make people happy and that's natural because we are all people pleasers when it comes to our families, relations and work but sometimes you have to say forget about everyone else's happiness.  Never sacrifice your happiness for the happiness of someone who does absolutely nothing for you.  Do what's right for you because int he end you have to live with it. 

6. DONT COMPARE YOUR BEHIND TE SCENE FOOTAGE TO SOMEONE ELSE'S HIGHLIGHT TAPE

You don't see everyone's struggle because they don't show it, people only show what they want you to see, the positives in their lives, the good things and you can't compare what you're going through to what you see someone else you same age or whatever it may be because you don't know their story. Everyone experiences different trials to get to where they are and want to be!

7. BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND SET NO EXPECTATIONS

When you have an expectation you are setting yourself up for a possible failure or hurt.  Like I said just let go and live life.  Let life happen and expect nothing from it, good or bad you won't be disappointed. 

8. HAVE ME TIME

If you aren't happy alone then you can never truly be happy with someone else; sometimes cook yourself dinner, have a drink, read a book or magazine or jus listen to some music. Spend time by yourself to do what you like to do. Remember alone and lonely are Two VERY different things. 

9. EAT GOOD DRINK GOOD

Lately I've made the decision to eat healthier and I've been drinking more water, I feel great and not just on the outside but on the inside.  You'll feel more energized and you'll be happy. 

10. OPEN YOURSELF P TO NEW THINGS

sometimes changing your surroundings can help you broaden your orisons.  Meet new people and discover new things.  It's easy to become frustrated when you're int he same place around the same people constantly and it's great to get away and see new things!

Live by these 10 rules and I promise life will be happy and healthy <3

My Natural Hair Journey

It's no secret that under this we've of mine i'm a naturalista! And I must say I love love love my natural hair. It's fun to see how as it grows my texture changes and how all the different products i experiment with work on my curly locs. 

In May of 2012 in a moment of boredom and a need of something new i asked my mother to take me to the barber, when she asked why, I replied I'm going to shave my head. After seeing the photo of ANTM's Bre Scullark after her big chop I was inspired and courageous you could say.  Without hesitation she took me and that was the beginning of this journey of mine. 

I should probably mention how my hair had been to hell and back but i'll save myself the embarrassment. 

After learning how to deal with my hair i was natural for all of 4 months before I relaxed it in September.  I had a moment of weakness but, come November I was right back at the same barber cutting it again and here we are a year and a half later still Natural!

Finding what products really work for my hair are what have made this journey easier along with my best friend having got natural and shaving her head around the same time as me. 

Now there are so many amazing ladies that inspire me in my hair journey.

1 being my Natural Hair GAWD Taren Guy whose youtube i watch regularly.  This woman is such an inspiration to keep my hair healthy and so knowledge n little tips and tricks ad how to's!

Another woman who's block and Instagram are favs of mine is the beautiful and blonde Mckenzie Renae

And lastly Lyssa of curlybynature21 on youtube! Her videos and Instagram foreverflawlyss have literally had me trying all kinds of products and styles and I must say she has definitely helped me find products that work for me.

Shout out to these 3 woman that keep me keeping my hair healthy and much more! For anyone out there debating on going natural I say just do it! remember it's only hair and it will always grow back.

The birth of a new female urban clothing line by none other than R&B according artists Ashanti's little sister Shia.  She previewed he line this past month at NYFW and it was a hit!

The line is said to represent the female hustle, it's suppose to make you feel sexy whether you're out in heels or vibing in sweats.

Bloggers i DIE for!

Blogging is something I had always found interesting and fun and fashion has always been something I loved and admired.  I didn't know exactly how to start a blog until I came across a few blogs such as; Karla Closet, .

Karla Deras is a California based fashion blogger who created and runs Karlascloset.com, Her fashion style and way of putting pieces together is nothing less of amazing and eye catching.  Having followed her blog for years I've been able to watch her style evolve and her fashion sense grow.  

Consisting mainly of outfit post Karla's blog is a place many go to not only get a daily dose of Cali fashion but to gain ideas for their own outfits as well.  Karla has been lucky enough to gain many opportunities through her blog such as designing a purse for Coach and flying all over the world for fashion geared events. 

Vanessa is also a California based blogger who's style definitely caught my eye.  She is more of an old school, vintage type of girl.  I cam across her blog years ago and instantly fell in love.  Late Afternoon is much more than fashion, her blog consist of Fashion posts, Outfit posts,Food and much more.  

Vanessa has a style that is very much detail oriented, every outfit has a piece that is different and has an eye catching detail or a major pop of color. Vanessa is one of those bloggers who you will find at NYC Fashion Week and all the fashion meet ups around the major cities. 

Dallas TX Diva Courtney Kerr is a blogger that simply put I LOVE! I found her via her new Television show Courtney Loves Dallas and after the first episode I had to check out her blog.  It quickly made it's way to my top sites on the MACbook.  

Courtney is a girl who is all about fashion and has a closet to die for. She attends Fashion Week, has a style all her own, quit her stuffy corporate job to run a fashion blog and has a collar with the amazing Bauble Bar jewelry company.  

Lastly I'm  bit obsessed with Shirley Eniang of Shirley's Wardrobe.  This shoe obsessed mathematician is based in London and has a youtube channel as well as a fashion blog.  

Shirley is very simplistic but always has that one detail that makes the outfit, whether it be jewelry, the shoe, or a pop of color she's definite a girl who nows how to chops and knows how to make a piece look completely different outfit to outfit.

A Designer to Love; Michael Costello

Michael Costella was first introduced to me via Lilly from the Shahs of Sunset.  She wore his beautiful gowns to almost every function she attended and then i saw his creations again on Beyonce' at the Grammy's. (pictured below)

Mr Costella had a show of nothing but beautifully impressive pieces for his NYC Fashion Week 2014 collection.  What impressed me even more about his show? His variation in models. Michael is showing that the days of "we already have one black model" are nearing an end!

#RichKids of Beverly Hills

E's newest reality show Rich Kids of Beverly Hills premiered this past Sunday and Monday and had nothing but mixed reviews.  

Personally I had nothing but love for the show and it's cast but some have said "why do I want to watch a bunch of rich spoiled kids do nothing" and other's have question how the title ties into reality because these people aren't kids and it's their parents who are rich.  My View? it's a reality show why do you care so much? If you don't want to watch then shane the channel!!

In my opinion the show is centered mostly around the Beverly Hill's Blair and Serena otherwise known as Dorothy Wang and Morgan Morgan Stewart who are obsessed with their shopping workouts and the IG selfies. 

The cast also includes the persian princess Roxy Sowlaty, Real Estate Mogul in the making Brendan Fitzpatrick who sold his first 15 million dollar house at the age of 19, Johnny Drubel the singer songwriter of the group with many appearances of Magic Johnson's oh so fabuluxe son EJ.

It seems this season will feature not only the extremely fabulous life these not so much kids live but also the struggles they endure, from being financially cut off to the fights they have like every other clique of friends in the world. I don't know about you, but I will certainly be tuned in!

Velvet Joggers and Disney's Favorite Couple 1.22.2014

Today was a not so surprisingly chilly day in Orlando as it's been very cold the past few weeks but because I was running a quick errand i opted to not wear a jacket. A friend and I went out to a local store then out for lunch.

I wore black velvet joggers from F21 along with a Disney collection tee from F21, super comfortable and totally cute! I paired the outfit with black, blue, red and gold bedazzled smoker flats which anyone will tell you i LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! 

I usually accessorize my outfits to a T but today i kept it simple with gold hoops, a gold MK watch and gold link Juicy bracelet along with my small Red MK Hamilton. 

For lunch it was no surprise we went for sushi! One of my ll time favorite foods and just our luck the sushi restaurant was having a buy one get one free on rolls so i completely pigged out! For years now a this particular place I've been getting the Polar Bear roll pictured below and only today did I realize it contains raw salmon… whelp not gonna stop eating it now NOM NOM NOM >.<

Vain in Black & Gold 1.1.2014

Every year here in Orlando a group known as One Life have a huge party at Club Vain New Years Day.  Last night was my first year attending and I must say it was PACKED!! 

Never having been I had absolutely no idea what to wear but of course I pulled something together.  Like usual Black was my main color but i decided to throw some gold in. 

I opted to keep it more so classy with a pencil skirt and kitten heels but wanted a bit of sex appeal which is why i chose the crop top. The pencil skirt is black with gold tribal detail and was bough at a store called Mad Rag, the black crop top is from Giti and the Shoes are from a local shoe boutique downtown.

Here's a quick shot of my make up as well
