˚⟡˖⋆ synopsis: right as your stages come to an end, you and Yoonchae race against time itself to make it to that W2E performance.

disclaimers: Yoonchae Jeong x fem!reader. all fluff. just thought of this after seeing Yoonchae talk about her wanting to go see w2e at Lollapalooza but finding out she couldn't bcz of insuficient time that they have(?) and her reaction UGH😭 and so i just wanted to write this mostly for myself lol. short af(like you lol). Wave to Earth, the famous korean band, is performing at Lollapalooza this summer of 2025, and Yoonchae wanted to see them so bad.

Katseye is also performing at Lollapalooza this summer! but it just happened to be that both groups' stages came exactly one after another... which is very unfortunate for the youngest member of the global girl group. it made her sad and disheartened.

But of course you weren't just going to stand by and watch. your beloved Yoonchip being sad? nope not on your watch.

Just as your performances came to an end, you and the korean girl ran off, with you dragging her by the hand and still in your stage outfits. sprinting like there is a pot of gold at the finish line.

You two make it to your motorcycle that you told your manager to secretly bring when your group was rehearsing earlier in the day.

You put the helmet on Yoonchae with a little playful tap on her head after you finish and then on yourself. as you rode off, giddy giggles and hearty laughs are shared throughout the entire 5minutes-or-so trip.

You get off quickly first, taking Yoonchip's helmet off her head, and there you notice the enthusiastic grin on her face. you just couldn't help but reciprocate.

Upon you two hearing some cheering from the crowd indicating that the Korean band that Yoonchae is so eager to watch had just arrived on stage, you shared a look. A look of "omg i can't believe we actually made it in time". Once again and for the final time this night, the two of you sprint and squeeze between the crowd to get a good spot.

Yoonchae and you are enjoying the performances, in the midst of it all the korean girl turns to you and mouths "thank you" as she turns back facing the performing band.

With now a proud and relieved smile on you face, which was the result of a mission's success, that mission being 'maknae eats first'- no i'm joking- and that mission being 'making Yoonchae's wishes come true' or something along those lines. You too face the stage once again but this time, hand in hand with her...
