I'll give my two cents:

1. Radiant (Nearl Alter EP). Initially I was very on the fence despite it being my favorite's own Character EP but after listening to it a lot in the background, I've grown to like it somewhat.

2. I love a lot of tracks from Arknights but these ones are the ones I return to listen to a lot:

Sea Wishes. Hands down the one track I love with all my heart, in all its forms. (So much so I have been saving up slowly to be able to buy the set that has the music box on the Yostar shop)

Operation Pyrite just hits right all the time. Quintessentially Arknights. Then Counting Sheep track from So Long Adele. Quadrant Breaker and Dreamland from Ambience Synesthesia.

Oh runner up is this song that was only ever featured in one 2024 livestream and never again. Walk That Line by Adam Gubman.

3. I personally am not a fan of The After (Tragodia EP) because it feels slightly dissonant to me regardless it's inspired off Hamilton style Broadway.

4. *sighs* ...... Take a picture, don't forget her.... Let it linger in your view...

5. Personally I wanna hear more phonk, 'church dubstep', and Disney-vibe Villain songs. Pop genre would be great too for a 90's throwback.

6. Hmm... off the top of my head, I'd like Hiroyuki Sawano for an in-game track. Yuuri (of Betelgeuse and Dry Flower fame) to do something for JP commemorative release. Babymetal for a fun lil surprise if possible. Marasy for something instrumental (piano!)... maybe even have a Vocaloid producer make something for Arknights too. Oh and Yoko Kanno. I would love if she was invited to make something very similar to her work for Visions of Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain or Ragnarok 2.

Thought I'd give this a go since I've played Arknights for a long enough time to have a good roster to figure out the kind of characters I like playing. This is only taking into account units that are available on global, limited and not.

1. what 6*s do you think are strong in a boring way?

Strongest contender is Gavial Alter. She's very good at what she does and all her skills are viable (mostly S1 and S3), but it gets boring after a while.

Why not Mountain or someone who is just activate once or twice then AFK? Simple, they're useful as AFK and *could* be boring but I'm considering it in the perspective of an Operator you have to actively play.

2. what 6*s do you think are strong in an interesting way?

Narantuya, because of her range and overall usability in most game modes. Quite versatile. And I like that she is hardier and can last longer with her dodge and beefier DEF for a ranged unit long enough for me to set up my formation.

Chongyue. His DEF and Block 1 makes it hard to use him to 1v1 bosses or high ATK enemies without a dedicated healer, but once you get his S3 activated permanently, it's pretty satisfying to see him just sweep the lanes he's responsible for. Even better when he's behind someone who can tank damage.

3. what 6*s do you just really like using, regardless of how strong they are considered to be?

Nearl Alter (Radiant Knight) through and through. I love my lady and she's pretty much my de facto emergency button for non-air enemies because of her S2's usefulness, on top of her Module buffs. She always has a place in my squad unless for trust farming.

4. what 6*s did you just not like using at all when you tried them?

Rosa. She's pretty, but her skillset isn't something I'm particularly interested in synergizing with.

5. are there any 6* you refuse to use because of their reputation as strong or weak? (so unrelated to disliking the character for whatever reason)

Someone I don't have: Siege Alter. She just doesn't look like someone I'd play because of feedback of how lacklustre she is compared to others in her subclass *coughSurtrcough*

Someone I have: Surtr. Though subjectively, I *would* use her and Wis'adel when I don't want to think too hard on clearing a CM stage. But for the most part, I would consciously not use Surtr or Wis'adel until I absolutely have no choice. There's also Ling, who I would argue eventually doesn't synergize with the playstyle I have even though she's really versatile.

Over the course of me and a friend brainrotting AUs while I couldn't draw, he has officially adopted two strays and not just one.

The lack of proper art this month is telling and I wish it wasn't a culmination of many things. Here's hoping that'll be the end of social obligations soon and I can go back to fawning over noodel on lazy weekends again.

So uhm, yeah. Actually had a nice overseas trip and took noodel cube with because he's never been out of the country and people wanted to meet him.

And then got sick when I got home because I wasn't used to so much activity (read: walking, talking, you get the drill) compressed into a short amount of time anymore. All in all, a strange kinda month.

But yeah, loved the experience, finally met the guildmates I could and had a blast. Hoping I could travel abroad again in the future.

I finally had time to finish this! I saw a picture on a tumblr I follow that I really, really liked the style of so I tried to emulate it the best I can.

A teeny, tiny gift for myself during this special month and as a celebratory thing for finally going through with that examination exam (failed, but it was highly expected anyway)
