Sum Aqbi Concept art

Before I can properly design all the characters, I need to worldbuild a little bit

Aqbi is the first country that formed on Erthe after... the disaster

Aqbi holds historical significance as it's the place where the very first S.I.T.E. blueprint was developed, associating it with themes of knowledge and science. The patterns often found in this country frequently feature bookmark shapes intertwined with squares.

As for fashion, there is a preference for baggy clothing and vertical silhouettes, giving each person a more grandiose presence.

This is the second introduction post, the previus one was Derek

I will not do one for Yulian (even though he is the MC), because I want to do more concept art to help solidify the fashion and colors first.

Chrys is a young woman from Nwif 901 (where the story takes place), she was born and kind of raised there. She shares an apartment with her younger brother and works closely with Yulian on various "joint operations". Despite her extroverted and charismatic nature, she doesn't get along with most people.

She was the last member of the mystic trio I made, as coming up with a solid idea that I like proved to be quite challenging.

I wanted her character to complement Derek's boundless positivity and Yulian's indifferent (and sometimes mean) demeanor. I even compiled a list of traits that neither of them possessed, and one that I first tried to explore was insecurity. Since neither Yulian nor Derek had particular confidence issues at that stage, I thought to add someone who did. However, I found myself uninspired by her character in this version, so I quickly scrapped her.

And then, maybe a message from God or my brain finally working, Chrys was born.

An eccentric, stylish, and super-confident woman with maybe some anger issues. On the surface level, just a normal person, in reality, an extremely proficient and shady individual.

As I approached the final stage, I realized that the cast had grown too large. So I decided to combine Chrys with another character (that was basically a lesser duplicate of her), allowing her to inherit not only the brother but also the close friends of that character.

So now Chrys went from underwhelming to being the most developed out of the main trio.

Diederik Derek Dirk Dick

I tried a little of a less saturated thing here I don't know if I pulled it out fully...

I wanted to do some introduction posts for the main trio since the old one is...

well... old

This is Derek, who also goes by Dirk, a guy who recently moved to Nwif(name of the "city") seeking a change of scenery and a bit of self-discovery. Initially, he was created as the playful counterpart to Yulian's cold demeanor, a silly to his serious. However, my brain exploded for some reason, and I found myself fixated on him, leading to his role change as the main protagonist. This turned out to be a bit of a narrative disaster on my part, as Derek's character is not particularly strong in the early parts of the story, and most of the characters are connected to Yulian and not him. He’s a late bloomer, a little midnight flower.

Before his story kicks in, most of the major characters and initial arcs need to be introduced, so that his conflict with his big baddy can start without problems. This is also because his conflict is what more or less ends the story(kind of), so having a character whom I can't say anything about as the protagonist is not the brightest of ideas.

While Yulian's conflict, or conflicts, are more easily manageable. His problems have layers; they were born from one source but then split into ramifications that need to be dealt with individually.

That's what trauma does to a man.

So...

Still figuring out Tumblr (for posting) I will probably make many mistakes using it but EHY

Mistakes make you stronger, don't they?

He (yes he) is my character, fresh (not so much) out of my mind. His name is Derek and I am still working on his design, maybe one day I will show all the changes he has gone thru.

My woman She is Chrys, a neighbour of Derek who frequently comes to his place (and keeps asking for salt). Out of the "main characters" she was the one I created the last (her "origin story" is complicated), but funny enough she is the only one with her design done... ironic...

The Man, The Myth, The Legend He is the Yulian, the brain of the group... and the muscles... well he is multitasking. He lives with Derek and they somehow get along in a pretty weird way.

They all live in a what-if version of our world, modified and not that realistic because I hate baggage. Its name is Erthe, but it was supposed to be something like Earthtrae (Earth but mirrored). But I misspelt it and only noticed it afterwards, so now Erthe is canon.

Timeline

The major events in Erthe's history.

Looks a bit shitty, I know... I just wanted to force myself to use colors since I am not very good with them

I think some parts are really good, I particularly like the space cloud, but overall its lacking sadly

Since I soon understood that this was a first take at the Erthe's timeline, I just gave the most basic information. I will expand on this later with a better composition

Basic Implants

These are the most common implants and augmentations used on Erthe, even by commoners.

It's rare to find people who do not have at least one enhancer, as they have become quite common. The exception to this tends to be children/teens, who are more likely to be without enhancers due to their limited options.

The age at which individuals can undergo implant surgery varies based on the type of enhancement desired. Generally, children as young as 7 can receive eye prosthetics or tactile implants. However, augmentation involving brain surgery is typically discouraged for younger patients, leading to a preference for external devices that can perform similar functions.

As individuals mature, they often transition from using external enhancements to opting for implants. This change results in external devices being primarily utilized for children or individuals with disabilities who are unable to undergo certain surgeries.

Obviously, he still doesn't have a name because all germanic names sound old, and this is supposed to be a futuristic story (it will be hard help)

But a name that I have is the one he is being mean to, which is Lilo poor Lilo

He is one of, if not THE, main antagonist of Derek's story He isn't super evil, he does things for a specific reason that aren't very dark He just wants Derek's ass to come back to Zestrad (name of the state)

He also needs some counselling, because there are issues that needs to be addressed

This is the first part I will make to explore plumoe's clothing, this is just a brief introduction

They don't wear much since they need hydration, and clothes absorb water to a degree... I also used this as an opportunity to draw some villagers that aren't super important but still need a design. Colors may change, especially the clothes, since I kinda of went for it without much thought

Pai Pai and Mihua are the chief's children; they are part of a set of triplets, but I didn’t have enough space for the third sibling. Rae and Merlua are significant figures in the village, with Merlua coming from a very "influential" family.

Sheatrhee Family (minus Luta)

They are Luta's adoptive family, and Cesh is specifically the one parenting him since they found him in the first place.

Loale is a seamstress from Lamea who came to Lumall to establish her small shop. There she met Tahre, a local who offered his assistance to move her things and get her shop ready for business.

Loale and Tahre soon became good friends, which led them to eventually get married. As part of their commitment, they made each other personalized ribbons, a traditional symbol of marriage that one wears in their everyday life.

Despite her advanced age, Loale successfully gave birth to multiple children without any complications. Her first hatchlings were twins named Cesh and Tu Shi. Many years later, she had a second batch of eggs, which produced a quadruplet: Kohre, Muhoo, Jei Jei, and Deshra.

In terms of appearance, their children mainly inherit their colors from Tahre, while in physical build, especially Cesh and Tu Shi, they bear a stronger resemblance to Loale.

Loale serves as the head of the family, since her significant contributions to the village through her high-quality clothing set her apart from other plumoe. Meanwhile, Tahre plays a more supportive role. He officially "works" as a handyman and manages the household, caring for the children while Loale focuses on her work.

Loale, even if a foreigner, was quickly embraced by the locals, with just a few exceptions. Her children have also seamlessly integrated into the village, despite their different appearance.

The Sheatrhee live in the commercial area of Lumall, exactly in the middle between the port and the temple.

Worldbuilding Section

✦ Beginning

This information may not be critical for understanding my stories going forward, but it’s nice to have.

The Titans are the creator gods of their inner worlds, as they are essential to the fabric of these universes. Without them, these worlds would slowly cease to exist. The relationship between a Titan and its world mirrors that of a person and their cells. Just as a cell is unable to live outside of its body, a universe can't survive without its Titan, but a Titan can live on without their inner world. A Titan can only operate within their personal universe and can't influence another's, making so that each world is separated from one another.

Erthe's world resembles our own, with a few adjustments and a small flood here and there...

In contrast to my other universes, Erthe is home to just two species. (my brain is itching at the idea of aliens, but we'll see)

The focus is more on people's lives and their new environment, examining how society has evolved. I have made so many drawings for this world, but none of them explain the lore... I am so sad at this realisation

Lumall, a plumoa village

Lumall is the village in which the story takes place All my plumoe characters live here

Lumall is unique as it is one of the rare full plumoe villages in Lureed This arises from the nature of the plumoe a nomadic species that typically does not create permanent settlements When they do choose to settle, they often integrate into pre-existing villages alongside other species such as Lamea (Loale is from here) a mixed village where a significant number of plumoe have chosen to live Here are some sketches I did for Lumall's insignia + other things
