Can't stop thinking about Mancountry. Mancountry is so. it's so rich with implications. Kris used to feel at home there, but they've gotten too big. They've grown too much. They don't fit anymore. They don't belong in Mancountry. The fact it's presented as a Gameboy game. Once a grand, new innovation. Now, old, and simple. Things used to be so simple, exactly the way they were. It's a man's world, and you are a man, in Mancountry. But you don't fit anymore. Maybe you can't be a man. But maybe. Maybe non-men are a-ok too.

uuhghhh i cant get over how theres something so deeply weird with deltarune's worldbuilding. magic and other worlds can be created so easily but only like 4 people know about it. theres a whole religion centered on what happens with that magic and how it's going to end the entire world but, again, nobody has figured it out. the prophecy centers on what's going to happen in this one town. is this religion practiced elsewhere? everywhere? or just here? can we name one thing that happens outside of this town besides asriel and susie going out there? it's missing something huge and it's uncomfortable, and we probably aren't going to find out for YEARS

maybe i’m just aromantic and bad at reading the room but it irks me when people are like “kris is canonically implied to have romantic feelings for (x character)” because as far as i can tell this has not happened. with the sole exception of maybe the cactus darkner.
