I made this thang several years ago and never finished the WIP so I think it’s time to release it into the wild. Be free, my child

Jaskier's Lute
Progress coming soon. (There are still a few tweaks to make, I'm just really excited that I built that!) It's functional and tuned like a guitar.
Decoration design drawn from Andy Valentine Cosplay's 3D model.

I do kind of dislike how one interest Fully takes over though I won't lie, its like a year/few years long high and its intense. I want to still like things I was into before but it kind of replaces it.

AAAA YOUR ART IS AN INSPIRATION FR 🥹🩵🙏
Do you happen to have any tips on drawing Astarion? You draw his eyes and lips beautifully but are also so good at capturing the shapes and contours of his jaw and cheekbones!!!! I’m enraptured ;O;
Thank you so much!
Well, the key to drawing Astarion (and any character, really) is to pay attention to the facial features that make the character unique - and their proportions in relation to each other. It's all well and good to take nose/mouth/eye shapes by themselves, but how they fit together is an important part of making a character recognizable - AND an often overlooked step of drawing faces! It's the sort of thing you develop an eye for with enough practice.
Note the distance between features, parallel lines, what parts sink in and what sticks out. After that, it is up to you to stylize everything however you please. Here's a few quick Astarions as a bonus to hopefully further illustrate what I mean

How to give Father Eugene an aneurysm, now in one convenient twunky package!
I have been wanting to show Cliffs concerning attitude to...his life. He's often doing things like this, without any thought or care for consequences. Part of it is undiagnosed ADHD, part of it is attention seeking (prob related to the adhd tho), part of it is a response to trauma. Tbh he doesn't expect to live long and doesn't know what he's doing with his life (thinking about it seriously scares the shit out of him). Doing shit like this makes him feel alive and in control of his own fate for a moment. I think him pursuing a priest was initially along this same risk taking behaviour, it'll be fun, it's exciting, something to make life interesting when he can't drink or fuck strangers. Anyway that backfired. I think Eugene is a good anchor for him! Eugene is...the opposite of a risk taker, the poor man lives in fear most of the time.

I did something fun for this comic, it was the first time trying riso style brushes in a comic, and I love how it looks tho it was hard to get my brain around haha. I'm using true grit rizzcraft brushes, and each colour is on a different layer set to multiply. The brushes for each colour are slightly different in pixel placement so the pure colours show through eachother in places!
