I'm not even a huge Star Wars fan, I'm just here for my partner. Currently has unhealthy obsession with KGLW.

Me:  I am still riding high from last week’s cameo, JUSTICE FOR AHMED BEST, FOR ONCE THE JEDI GOT TO LIVE, RETURN OF THE ONE TRUE KING, ORDER 66 BROKE MY HEART ALL OVER AGAIN, nothing can live up to that kind of high, at a certain point you’ve just peaked cameo-wise, this week’s episode shouldn’t even try to– The Mandalorian:  Hey.

The overly meta reality that we live in is where the memes about how Mariah Carey’s Christmas music overwhelms the culture, actually currently overwhelms the culture more than Mariah Carey’s Christmas music itself.
The meme has overshadowed the source. The hypocrisy is prevalent. It has peaked and it’s time for it to fade from the public consciousness.

Worldbuilding tip!
If you need to draw a map for your fantasy world, just use your stretch marks and cellulite as references for your rivers, mountains, and valleys. And birthmarks make great city markers!
That way, you can tell people that your ass is an adventure.

And of course, right after I’m so tired of seeing the little green goblin. My aunt gives me a Grogu shirt as a gift.
If this isn’t karma I don’t know what is.
Spoilers for Boba Fett’s stolen show
I’m sorry, as excited as I was with the Mando and Grogu moments in the last episode of TBOBF, it was frustrating that it felt like the only moments Mr. Boba Tea had was a Rancor ride and killing the coolest member of the blue men group.
So that being said, if I see Grogu in the Kenobi show I swear I’m gonna lose it.

anyways Smiling Friends is a pretty good show
The Book of Boba Fett is a frustrating show. Oh my god.
I knew something was wrong from Chapter 2 but after Chapter 6 it was just frustrating.
The Fan-Service
There was just so much fan-service and pandering and I feel like Lucasfilm doesn't trust the audience enough to get invested in watching Boba Fett having a gang war that they have to bring literally everyone back from the Mandalorian praying that the audience would stay invested.
As much as I had a blast seeing Mando and the Armorer and the Darksaber and Grogu and Ashoka and Order 66 and Deepfake (Completely Monotone) Luke, it just DIDN'T FIT in the story of Boba Fett.
I understand Mando joining in on the upcoming gang war but not an entire episode and a half dedicated to the shiny beskar can with barely a glimpse of half naked Boba in his bacta tank.
Oh and I'm so ready for more live action Cad Bane.
My partner and I got so hyped seeing Luke and Grogu's touching moment, we really did. It just...should've been a part of The Mandalorian Season 3 because, I don't know about y'all, but I'm here for Tatooine and the Tusken Raiders, SPEAKING OF WHICH...
Boba is One-Dimensional and The Tusken Raiders Deserved Better
Something felt off from the first Chapters of this show for me. And I have come to a point that I figured out what was bugging me.
Boba Fett decides to "rule with respect" all of a sudden after meeting with the Tusken Raiders and...that's it? Are you telling me, that Boba Fett just wants to be a good ruler and that's it? There's no ulterior motive, no other desires that make him a little more complex than just "I want to be a respected ruler?"
There's so much more you could do with Boba Fett at this point. There had to be more to this desire to be a respected Daimyo like maybe using that position of power to give back to the Tusken Raiders, or to bring peace between the citizens (basically colonialists) and the Tusken Raiders (basically indigenous), or making Tatooine a better place for everyone, especially Tusken Raiders who have been constantly and unfairly abused and belittled and vilified on their home planet.
This entire season could have been about the Tusken Raiders and the citizens, the struggle, the conflicts. There could have been so much more history about Tatooine and the Tusken Raiders' place in that history. The planet used be covered in water!
HOW ARE THERE NO PARALLELS BETWEEN TATOOINE AND KAMINO? HOW DO YOU MISS SUCH GOOD STORYTELLING OPPORTUNITIES?
How could you just drop a couple hints implying that the Tusken Raiders are the indigenous people, give them a Polynesian cultural dance to amplify more that idea that they are indigenous and and then forget about them for the rest of this season???
They could've had more Tusken Raider stuff in this story. Like what if Boba Fett had a Tusken Raider advisor alongside Fennec? My partner mentioned A'Sharad Hett/Darth Krayt which would work great since he spoke Basic and knew the Tusken Raider culture well. (He waged war with Tuskens against the Hutts, he's perfect, hire him) He's all Legends anyways so he can be used however the writers liked. (Like what if his turn from Jedi to Sith happened in a theoretical Season 2, and that was the main plot?)
And it would make the entire story more interesting, the citizens would be in high tension knowing Boba Fett is friendly with the Tuskens, even Fennec would be on edge.
There was so much potential in the Tusken Raiders, raising up Boba Fett, being returned the planet that they lost to the outsiders. It would have been a perfect way to start a story based completely on Tatooine.

The Book Of Name-Dropped Characters Allegedly Following Plot Lines Around Boba Fett But Not Quite Closely Enough To Warrant His Actual Focal Appearance, featuring literally anyone except Temuera Morrison (including two cgi men and a puppet)
