What exactly is going on with the angel anatomy? Like God made it so they can somewhat reproduce, yet they don't urinate or defecate. Are the angels just missing certain organs, or do they have them and they just don't work? Or is there some whole different thing happening inside the angels that's not even remotely the same as human anatomy? Maybe God just thought it would be funny to make them like this.

The more complete answer to what's going on with angel reproductive organs is here but the short answer is: angel genitals are purposefully mysterious.

THAT SAID, angels' lack of urinating/defecating (and procreation capabilities!) is very interesting because yes, I do think it makes the fact that they have sexual organs, despite their lack of need for them, that they're still forbidden from even acknowledging a lot weirder/creepier on God's part. It's like the tree of Knowledge in Eden; if God hadn't actually wanted the humans to eat it, then he wouldn't have put it there, or he would have hidden it. What God likes, though, is watching his creations wrestle with temptation. So he gave angels some kind of genitals (however you want to imagine them) that can be used for sexual pleasure, because he wants the angels to wrestle with denying themselves that pleasure.

I also do think angels are missing some organs in them that we associate with urinating/defecating, by the way. I remember I said this once a while ago in reference to whether angel-pregnancy is all that visible. I answered that it's vague, but I do feel that a pregnancy would be "more stealth" because there's quite a bit of empty space in an angel's lower abdomen (given the lack of bladder and so on).
